I’m aware of that. I meant both, conspiracy theories and exaggerations. You were coming off as having some borderline conspiracy theories. Tinfoil hat is always a fun one to throw out when I get the chance.

I had no plans on double dipping but the outrage here has me tempted. But, I’ve got other things to do in the morning now, and will probably just show up for lunch and beers at the taproom. I’ll admit that I’m hoping the line dies down so I can grab a couple bottles of Regular, as I have a couple buddies that are looking for it.

If I were really smart, I’d already have my grandparents dead bodies in chairs at the front of the line. “Oh, Grandma just likes to sleep her way through the release!”

 

Correct. This is what I was trying to get at.

The beef I had last year was when there were about 200 people in line there were some people who were in the first 50 or so and after they got their bottles they dropped them off at their car and then cut back in line around the 100th person in line with people they knew. Barring some big black X or wristband or something tomorrow that will absolutely happen again. Especially given the reduced allotments.

All good. Frustrations are high. No conspiracy theories. Just irritated with the way this whole thing was handled, as Benthic is one of my favorite beers, and it has been a disaster since yesterday. I think the frustrations are justified in this case. That's all.

 

I think wristbands would be a great way to go for HA with these releases. That would help with some of what you mention. (I’m sure someone would find a way around it because they always seem to find a way.)

 

I thought about that honestly but I was by myself and they were in a group of 5-6 people.

I think you’ll be fine getting regular. And they’ll have the variants on tap, hopefully throughout the weekend.

Benthic is one of my favorite beers as well, which is why I allocate a vacation day for the release.
