I mean, if you want to try BCBS Vanilla and avoid lines, you can just get it delivered...

If one likes vanilla, one will enjoy BCBVS. There was something floral about the finish, as @Jplachy has stated. I think it’ll age really well. I like it now, but I expect to like it for years to come, too.

Think I mentioned before, but Midnight Orange and Reserve were disappointing to me. I’m looking forward to trying all of them again in a controlled, non-festival setting.

If you like fruit beers, then Bramble will be a winner.

I'm both kidding and not when I say "but what adjunct is in it?"

I'll definitely give wheatwine a shot, but I think there's a reason pastry stouts sell, and it's not just because they're "in."

I'll agree that they are good, and my palate loves them. But I won't ever knock classic styles w/ no adjuncts. But I get it, we all want that explosive flavor that overwhelms our senses.

I love stouts with adjuncts just as much as I love stouts without adjuncts. The key for me is, and always will be, balance.

I'm not trying to knock them, I'm just saying that realistically, a wheatwine is not going to reach the same base of people as a BA coconut stout.

    Blend a reserve with a vanilla 1 for 1 and you'll have a 2010....

I'm mostly curious how many people are going to be loading up on Coffee BW thinking it's the usual coffee stout then be repulsed by it when they open a bottle. I'll definitely give it a whirl if I can get one, but would have much rather had coffee stout and regular BW. Wheatwine is in my top tier ISO on Black Friday.

In the interest of fairness Coffee Barleywine is the worst variant in the history of variants.

I actually thought CB was alright, not my favorite, but it wasn't actively bad.

No Vanilla, Chocolate or fruit, no one cares.

People sleep on Reserve too and it was by far the best of last year’s crop.

I haven't had Prop yet but I agree about Reserve this year for sure. I'll still probably side with Prop last year for it's originality, but I wouldn't argue with someone saying Reserve was their favorite last year.

This surprises me, if it's the case. It sounded so unappealing to me when it was announced that my first thought was "well they have to know something I don't, so maybe there's something about a coffee-flavored barleywine that I'm not getting."

Just goes to show how different everybody's palates are. I thought Wheat Wine was fine, but not very memorable or worth running around town for.
