Coolship Resurgam at Total Wine Natick. There were 2 bottles, now 1. $14.99. Saw plenty of Expedition Stout too that someone was asking about.

Definitive 35. Session Ale at 3.5% ABV. Incredibly tasty. Looks like a rotational beer but I can see myself drinking dozens of these in the hotter months. A Whirlpool challenger for sure.

I was at Allagash (Austin Street, and Battery Steele) a few weeks back and for some reason we didn't go to Definitive. Shame on us...

Some potential good news for us Massholes. The Waltham Market Basket has a sign out front advertising that they will soon be opening up a "Market Basket Liquor Store" next door.

Now hopefully we can be cool just like New Hampshire.

We’re still not cool enough to avoid paying deposit and taxes though.

Anyone see that BA Guinness around? Decided I'm just interested enough to give it a go.

I haven’t seen it yet, but I got an email from Total Wine (Burlington) that they’d have it on Black Friday. If you have one local to you, I’d give them a call or check their website.

Yes. I saw that last weekend while dodging the giant swarm of the brain dead that make up a lot of the shoppers. If I could grab a 40 in a bag and then do my shopping, I might just keep coming back.

I've been keeping a close eye on this. Hopefully $12/12 Urquell and $16/30 Gansetts are on the horizon for Waltham residents. I'm not expecting to see Mystic and Exhibit A 4pk there but I'll take reduced prices on the classics.

I'll post in the other thread too, but Oakdale Liquors in Tewksbury already put out its 2018 Bourbon County allocation. BCBS still available at $12 a pop; variants sold out.

Also picked up MBC Fall and Epic Quad Barrel Big Bad Baptist. If you're into really overpriced MBC though, there's a whole shelf of Lunch at $10 per.

Unfortunately you won’t get the cool sales like the N.H. MB’s if Waltham follows MA state law. No special discounting (or fun prices) allowed - I mean how can the state allow people getting an extra beer for the same price, you’d have drunken idiots crashing cars all over town <sarcasm emoji>

"Just interested enough"? You're a big stout guy, I thought you'd be all over this.

Did you try the base beer, Antwerpen, last year? I thought it was fantastic.

@meefmoff, I swear I'm not trying to play up my "richest guy on Beeradvocate" schtick with this post.

But I stopped shopping at Market Basket a long time ago. I pay far more at Star Market in Porter Square, but it's so much more relaxing. And Market Basket doesn't have half the stuff I shop for either, so it was an easy decision.

Between the "giant swarm of the brain dead" at the store itself and all the friggin' lights I have to go through to get to the other side of Somerville, I just stopped going.

I heard from someone who used to work there that the Somerville location (I like to call it "Satan's Asshole") does the second most business next to Chelsea, and it's also the smallest Market Basket in the state.

That's a TERRIBLE combination, especially considered the parking lot isn't big enough. They actually have to have a cop directing traffic during Christmas because you can barely even get into the parking lot.

Wow, that's really expensive for Lunch.

The MB near me is a shitshow 99% of the time. I started paying more to buy at Hannaford and then paying more to have them shop for me and deliver it to my car. Gotta step your rich guy game up.

I've thought about getting it delivered to my house (ha, one-upped you!), but I like getting free samples at the deli counter.
