No, but they said they will update next week when they know what they are getting. I’m sure they’ll be up there with Top Hops.

I’m interested to see if Whole Foods will get any variants this year. Last year it seemed like nobody knew about the stuff and with Amazon at the helm I doubt this year will be any better.

 

Has anyone spotted BCBS in NYC yet? (also variants??) Some places have been dropping early in NJ apparently, anything in NYC?

 

Stop it. There are always places that drop early and they are always places you don’t want to spend your money. It’s not worth it, just wait until Black Friday and pay the regular amount that’s already too much.

 

I’ll be out of the country...I got some regular last year a week early and it was $11, which I thought was fair.

 

That’s actually not that bad. There are just too many places in the city that sell early to gouge customers.

 

Thought I’d post this here since the place isn’t too far from NYC. Super Buy Rite in Jersey City has Vanilla,Bramble,Wheatwine, Orange, and possibly the others behind beer counter. Not sure on limits but I believe it was 2 bottles total that you could buy.

Just picked up (2) Vanilla @ 24.99ea, (1) BCBS @12.99, (1) Orange @24.99, (1) Bramble @24.99 (1) Wheatwine @ 15.99

No coffee available. Store manager said theres more stock on the way.

A bit pricey, but beats waiting in a line this year for questionable variants.

 

There is no coffee this year. There’s a barley wine infused with coffee this year which is apparently gonna be hard to get because I haven’t seen a single place getting that. I know some places that still have ‘17 Barleywine, I might just get a few more of those instead.

 

Picked up a 17 Barleywine a week ago. Tasting nice.

 

My bad i was referring to the coffee barleywine. Should've been specific. Funny that the regular barleywine was plentiful in past years, but any time they add coffee to anything it becomes super rare.

 

Where is that still available?

 

I grabbed 2 bottles less than a month ago from Carmine Street Beers. When I was there last weekend they still had a few bottles. It’s just sitting on the shelf.
