@AlcahueteJ DM me for my excel spreadsheet covering all MB cheese releases from southern NH since 2012. I’m suspecting this next batch of gruyere is gonna be fire.

I’d love to be new to BA and stumble across this thread first...

It's November, time to start considering this thread for thread of the year.

This month’s Trillium thread is giving this, Vitamin Sea and HF Bait and Switch quite the run for their money.

Ugh, I typically don't like the cheese program at Market Basket. There's a new small local Creamery out in Athol that's in a shed that is just KILLING it these days. I might drive out there this Black Friday.

I may hit you up though, because I heard MA isn't receiving the Midnight Orange cheese variant this year, so NH might be my only shot.

I give that new BA credit if they read through 35 pages of random (and outdated at this point) beer finds to get to the Market Basket portion of the thread.

What's going on in the Trillium thread? I have no idea about the Vitamin Sea one either. I read the first couple posts in the HF one and decided to do something better with my time.

    Does it count?

It has the second most views next to the, "What's on the shelves in CT" thread. But that thread started a year prior to this one.

But this one started in 2017 believe it or not...

I read through last month's because I was curious about the Fort Point opening.

I hope it's not 12 pages of $19 burger talk.

After perusing the Trillium and Vitamin Sea threads... I think there needs to be two categories for thread of the year, dramatic and non-dramatic.

I started reading the last page of the Trillium thread. Oh boy.

Going to have to grab some popcorn and whatever Trillium my roommate picks up from Canton this weekend and read through that thing.

It was also totally worth it to see the Spiderman GIF.

I like my cheese in the smaller formats as I find it hard to consume all of it at once, especially the stronger stuff. If it was up to me, it would all be individually wrapped. I also need my cheese to be really fresh, particularly the Sargento Mexican Cheese Mix with Vanilla and Cocoa Nibs.

    (someone please say 'Uncle')

More importantly, is The Standard (Notch) all drained from shelves? I wanted to bring it to dinner tomorrow. Sightings in metro west welcome!

Not to get this back on track but Fort Point Market was like a literal trading partner last night. I gave them my monies and in return picked up multiples of Jackie O's Coffee BBA Oil of Aphrodite, Double Dunks, Cassian Sunset and a can of Finback Heinous.
    Just ridiculous selection of stouts.

I worked in Burlington before moving and went to the MB frequently. It had a great selection, but the parking lot sucked (I'd park in the side lot near Five Guys) and there was a high likelihood of getting hit by a elderly person's cart. By the end, I would much rather go to Wegman's or TJ's vs that MB. It is a good MB though.

My former roommate and I went to the Somerville MB on a Sunday (a mistake, I know) and it was probably the last time I've been to that MB. If MB could get the Star location on Beacon Street, that would be huge for them. I feel like nobody goes to that Star. It can't be doing well. Isn't there a Star or Shaws on Broadway or McGrath highway that closed? Maybe Highland? That would also be a good additional MB. The market for MB is there. I'm surprised, and yes I know real estate costs, that they haven't tried to push for more urban locations.

Wegman's in Burlington has 4-packs of a bunch of fancy Lawson's beers... I came home with Hopzilla and The Space In Between. They also have Knockout Blonde and Chinooker'd.

Along with Sip and both Super Sessions, of course.

got one at Bacon's in Hudson, think it was 9.99. To be honest it sounds WACK, but dark & stormy is probably my favorite cocktail and you searching it out made me curious.

I am cautiously optimistic but I trust Firestone Walker's barrel program. 80% rum barrel-aged Helldorado got me on board on this one.

Edit: the ginger, lime, and splash of Velvet Merkin is where the caution comes from...
