Swung by for the cans yesterday and finally got to sample Rhythm of the Night. It was delicious, so I'm real excited for that bottle release. Well worth the wait.

Any word on how fast they moved?
Visited over the summer and was impressed. Would like to try a malty sampling from them at some point

Was gifted a couple cans about a month ago after just hearing about this place.

Glimpse was one of the best DIPAs I've ever had. I wish they weren't 3 hours from me or I would be a very frequent visitor. Would love to get my hands on some stouts from them.

Hope they have a ton of success!

That's great to hear. I was out of town all weekend and after sampling some and hearing about all the label issues I'd thought I missed out. Assuming there's still some at open Thursday...

From the stack of cases they took the two I purchased on Sunday from, I would estimate there was 8-10 cases left (assuming the stack of cases was all full bottles).

Finally got around to drinking the bottle of Rhythm of the Night that I picked up back in early December. Shit, this stuff is incredible.

The 'Northern Dusky' I had on tap at 3 Penny yesterday was incredible. These guys continue to impress. Hoping for future cans in the Burlington area, but might have to take the kiddo back to the aquatic center sooner rather than later to justify a revisit to the brewery.

Well worth a trip. Lots of interesting food options in WRJ too now. The area keeps improving.

Can any1 give me a heads up on these guys? I'm doing research on places to try and hit up while on a family vacation we are taking to VT in July and def would like to try RR. Looks like it would be best to hit when driving home at the end based off where we are staying and where they are located.

Do they pretty regularly have cans available or does it just depend? Checked out their website and it looks like 3 or 4 are available now...

Definitely worth a stop. Cans are kind of random at this point. When they release cans they are available for a week or so (may move faster in summer when more tourists). Can grab growlers if no cans.
In same parking lot is Big Fatty’s, they have great tap list and also a retail Crowler side with lots of good local craft beer.
Most of the places I go have all the VT big boys on tap, and I choose a River Roost most of the time.

Jhavs is right, worth a stop whether they have cans or not. They fill most any growler so bring what you have. They only carry wide mouth screw tops so if you have the smaller ones bring your own caps.

I’m going to chime in here. I’m presently in Stowe skiing. I hit up river roost Friday on the way up and it’s legit 4 minutes off the highway. The area? Well the bbq spot next door looks pretty legit but white river junction leaves a lot to be desired.

More importantly, the beer. Good god the beer. This placed restored the feeling. You can only get 2 4 oz samples, and they are different from what they are selling. I’m putting river roost ahead of the alchemist. Northern Dusk (rye IPA) and the spicy chocolate stout I tried were real good. You can find them on draft around the area, but I asked and they really aren’t distributing cans. Be on the lookout for Ten Bends as well they are located near Morrisville in Hyde park. Frost and upper pass depending on where you are staying.

River Roost is not a place to hang out, especially if you have kids- small taproom-mostly just a retail desk. I will say the 4 times I have been there, the dude slinging cans and growlers was very nice and the beers are dope. My favorite was Mas Verde- I found it similar to, but better than Sap by Tree House. Big Fatties is in the same parking lot and is a gem. Family friendly, above average bbq, stellar tap list, and happy wholesome vibe- probably one of my favorite restaurants on the planet.

I’ll give a second chime in.
WRJ is on the rise and has been for years. The real estate is going crazy and there are many awesome restaurants that have opened in past 4-5 years.
    Elixir
    Big Fattys
    Trail Break Taps and Tacos
    Phnom Penh
    Piecemeal Pies
    Tucker Box

It’s the hot spot restaurant and bar wise for the Dartmouth crowd.

I wish I bought the homes I looked at when I moved to the area in 2006.

RR brewing is making some great beers. The fact that they are now featured on tap at the cream of the crop VT beer bars is proof positive. I agree WRJ has come a long way....and if you were around in the Catamount days - you know how bad that downtown was. That said - they aren’t going to grow unless - 1. They get a legit taproom. The current space is like the original HF space — complete w/no public restroom...in a word - pathetic; and 2. Fix their branding. The can label art is some of the worst in the industry.
