Tbh I was very underwhelmed by Donut Shack. I got some apple but not much else (including hops.)

 

Thanks for the heads up. Hoping morning bean lasts, have given up hope on evening bell, oh well.

 

yea the line wraps around the courtyard and out around the back building. minimum 500 people in line.

 

The worst part about being there would be how long that line is gonna take to clear. Good luck to those there or going.

 

Yeah f that, furtherest I parked ever was all the way down the block but not blocks away. That was during 1825/Fifth I think and maybe MB in the rain 2 years ago. Since this post went up Wed, I figured I wouldn't get DB Evening, maybe I can get one elsewhere, but I hope Morning Bean lasts and theres no line when i get out of work. If not i had it on tap.

I liked it, it didnt have the normal bite of an IPA, but I assume thats b/c the addition of the cider to the beer itself. I liked it, but i liked Cider (non alcoholic) a lot, so it makes sense. But I'd prob only drink 1 in a sitting, maybe a second a while later. I think it was better as it got a little warmer as well

 

I’m hoping that all of these releases end up saturating the market to the point you can walk in anytime after release day without much hassle. Seems like it’s getting there with the past few. I looked at my notes on Vanilla MB and seemed to like it but preferred reg MB. I should do some blind tastings vs shelf comparables for science.

They’ve also got Sunday brunch and malus for pours and donut shack for pours and growlers.

 

Those Barrel bottles are sold out. Still a lot of mourning being left. No line

I can’t believe how many beers were released over the last month. Hopefully some more coming without crazy lines to deal with.

 

Glenn has said they have a lot of beer to release by EOY. I'm waiting on the Horus collab and hope I am around the weekend it releases

 

I remember that and never did I think it would mean this much. It is crazy, I wonder if MB is coming soon. But also I know you’re with me on this one where has party wave been?

 

Well, Greyvtrayn and I missed out on all but bean (missed evening bell by 40 minutes), but we didn’t have to wait in line and got to hang out so ok by me.

 

Only mildly disappointed to miss on the BA beers but there was no way I was going to stand in a line outside today! Cheers, thedirtystayout!

 

Totally with you. BA evening bell is good, but not standing in 30 degree weather for 3 hours good. Would have gone up for morning bean if that was the only release anyways and was happy to get a 4 pack of evening bell too. Was really surprised to see people buying cans of evening bell by the case...

 

It was pretty nice in the sun, think I may even have gotten a bit of sunburn.

 

That was frostbite.
