To me, a lot sweeter than I remember previous years as being, with a ton of vanilla.

This beer was a great buy at $12-$15/6 pack but an easy pass at $15/bomber. It just does not stand up to any other barrel aged coffee stout that I can buy locally and does not age as well past 6 months. After 6 months it is a shell of its former self and the barrel aging is barely noticeable.

Its laughable that anyone is comparing this to KBS, Peruvian Morning, BA victory at sea to name a few and off of which you can have in your fridge for moths without any significant drop in flavor.

I have never seen a Lag bomber for 15. Is that really what these are priced at or is your store jacking up the price? I heard these were 7.99.

Paid $9 for the bomber. Excellent beer. I'm sad to see it go from six packs to bombers though. Worth the price for one or two. Compared to most other BBA bombers, it's a steal.

This was $11.99 a six pack last year. Even at $7.99 a bomber this is already a far worse deal than previous years. Let alone $9.99, or more. Still 9 bucks a pop is not a bad price for what it is.

But relative to how spectacular a value the last couple of releases were, it is a big letdown.

I paid $8 a bomber for the original hi west release. Bought a full case and still have 3 left. I also bought a case of six packs the first year it was released and have 12 left. The original bomber version is the best release of them all and well worth the $8 each.

Not seen this new release in any format or any willet in six packs. I would try a bomber at $8.

It’s humorous how an $8 bomber of BA coffee stout, that is a good beer , is a poor value.

    Enjoy

How are those beers drinking with age on them?

    Cheers!

I'm drinking one of the two I bought right now. I'm not really that impressed. Thin and boozy, not very smooth. Coffee is more chalky than roasty. Next time I'll spend a little more on a better beer.

Bought two today for $10.99 each. First time I’ve ever seen High Westified or Willettized so had to get a couple.

I don't mind the bomber for barrel aged beers. After thinking about it though, the hipster douche bag mason jar glasses is a deal breaker for me. If that's what they think I want, they clearly don't know me. I know that's kinda shallow, but it's just how I feel.

Picked up the gift pack today. I have never tried this beer and while I was disappointed with the lack of a six pack I decided to try it. The 10oz glasses are useless for most beers imo but will work for high abv sippers.

I'm out due to the bomber formats. It's sitting at many stores in my area right now.

$15 for a bomber of BA beer and two glasses. And that's expensive? Am I missing something?

Well, it used to be $8 a bottle. Are two small 10oz cups and a fancy box worth the extra?

Sure we want to see the $12 six pack but it’s gone for this year. If I see a bottle for $8 I’m buying one.

    Enjoy

While I'm less than thrilled with bombers, they can sure send spare stock our way. We didn't get it last year, and may not this year again.

I got my second bottle for 8.99 by itself. It seemed to be a second wave that showed up after the gift sets at the grocery store. Just a note to those who don't want a gift set.

Meh. Even a bomber for 8.99 is significantly pricier per ounce than 11.99 for a sixer. Willetized is also not as good as Westified was, so this deal just keeps getting worse. At least Brown Shugga is 8.49 a sixer.

Born Yesterday wad also inferior this year imo.

$8 isn't a terrible price considering a bomber of the Cappucino Stout is $5.
