Do they still have available for on-site?

 

Someone on Facebook said they were still available at 8pm last night, at which point we were all losing our shit about blizzards so maybe?

 

From the Mendhi lottery post: "We will have a limited supply of Mehndi 2018 bottles available on Saturday 11/24 and Sunday 11/25 for on-site consumption."

Unless they changed their minds, I'd be surprised if they had any today.

 

Thanks for responses. I will give them a call later and find out for certain, but it is encouraging to know they had some left as of last night.

 

I shouldn't be surprised that some of the bros thought it was acceptable to just take a table as soon as they got in without waiting for the hostess to seat them. I wish they would've told them to get back into line for a table.

 

Just came back from MoRE and they still had Mehndi bottles for on-site consumption. Need 2 people to be able to order one (not sure if this was the case over the weekend). Definitely as @croush said, very BCBS-esque. Not a bad thing by any means: good bit of barrel sweetness and good mouthfeel. The booze became more noticeable as it warmed.

 

Well that blows. Was hoping to swing through solo after work.

 

Pretty sure the 2 person requirement was noted in their original post about it being available onsite, so this definitely isn't something they just came up with.

If I were you, I would go and see if anyone else happens to want to share a bottle...or see if rules can be bent. Or, go join a table of strangers that aren't drinking Mehndi and order a bottle "with them"...although that could be a bit awkward.

 

You've met me before, I try to avoid awkward. I'm not above filling my glass and leaving the rest for someone else though.

 

As long as you don't get one of those little 6oz taster glasses!

 

That's a change from the weekend. Wife and I could've had two yesterday but she doesn't like stouts and I like being vaguely functional so....

Here's how they worded things over the weekend:
We will also have a limited amount of bottles available for on-site consumption (no to-go) for $35. We are limiting it to one bottle per person and no more than 3 bottles per table/check.

 

I "doomed" one solo yesterday afternoon. Try what @croush said.

 

Apparently I look thirsty enough that they gave me one. Pretty slow.

 

I would have offered to split it, or even given a free 5 oz poir - soloing 7 ounces of a 15% stout in the afternoon is a bit much. But there were 2 dudes on either side of me doing the exact same thing I was.

Only exception being one of them also had a flight as well.

 

It was on the menu like that Saturday but I was able to get one myself

 

If someone was fighting me for the bottle, I would. However, there are only 2 other people at the bar and 3 tables. Don't know that I've ever seen it this slow. Leisurely dinner it is!

 

It definitely said two people were required to order a bottle on the menu I had on Sunday.

 

When I read that on the menu I said to the bartnder “if you see anyone looking to split a bottle, please let me know. She said “oh no you’re good because it’s 1 per person”. So I guess it never hurts to ask haha.

I’m not nearly as high on the food at More as most but I think the street tacos have improved noticeably

 

Is there still any Mehndi for on-site or is it all gone?
