Just heard someone who came out with their beer comment that it is gone.

 

Carmine had 2 cases of reserve

 

special shout out to the d bag who tried to pull a chat-n-cut in front of me at the carmine street line (even though we were BOTH 3 people too late for reserve)
I waited until the line started moving to give him every chance to do the honest thing before i said something, and this mouth breather complained to me that i should have said something sooner so hed have a decent spot in line still... not my problem, sucks to suck bro! it seemed like the 2 guys behind me may have been posters in here... if you are, nice to meet you guys

How is inventory at Carmine's? Contemplating leaving midtown in about 45 minutes to pop down. Trying to grab vanilla and coffee barleywine if I can.

 

Not sure about inventory left, but it was cool for TJ Miller to stop by the Carmine's line around 11 (I think?) to ask what people were lining up for. Someone walked over to him when he was apparently wandering back from whence he came across the street and said that he seemed pretty into the beer scene, and may stop back into Carmine's later.

 

Ha! I thought that was him...

 

Carmine still has regular orange wheatwine and vanilla.

 

Hot tip for anyone at Carmine or anywhere with vanilla and orange on tap: mix em together they make creamsicle bcbs it is GOOD. It came to me in a drunken haze Friday night... just tried it...

 

Damn. Missed all this drama at the back of the line!

 

BTW what time did people start lining up at Carmine’s?

 

Seemed like somewhere between 9 and 10 is when the line got big

 

I was 2nd in line and got there a little after 10

 

I got there at 11:10 and got one of the last bottles. Missed TJ Miller though.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

I got there at 11:20 and still got a bottle of Reserve. There were a handful of people behind me.

Interestingly enough, I've gone to Carmines several times in past years and arriving at 11am usually made me one of the first few in line, but not this year. Must have been the Reserve.

 

I got there at about 1115/1120 and was 21 in line. The line got very long very quckly around 1120/1130.

 

I got on line at 11:30, basically right at the corner.

Yea I think I missed the Reserve by 5-7 people.

Damn I can’t believe I missed TJ Miller! Haha

 

Hi. I'm going to be in the city wednesday and thursday, what are my best bets for bottle shops either in Tribecca or Midtown? All my usual spots in Boston sold out while I was enjoying black friday with family

 

Lots of regular, vanilla, and orange at the Columbus Circle Whole Foods as of 10am this morning. Good pricing, too: 11.99 for reg, 22.99 for variants.
