What beer are you drinking now? #2228

I like this beer, but it’s nowhere near top of the heap:

 

Think this game is a rap, heading to the hot tub with a Stone 22 Anny Anni-Matter DIPA. Strangely enough the downstairs heater kicked on, now I don't know what to think, had thermostat set to manual versus programmed, head scratcher.

 

Night cap. I had a 2017 over thanksgiving and I have to say this years seems to be drinking much better right now.

 

I still love the Freak Out album. Have the vinyl from when it was 1st released. Musically and lyrically it is a masterpiece.

One of those beers that the initial sip is... hmmm.

But the more you sip, the more the flavor builds; it doesn’t build in a uniquely bold nature. The base is earthy, but there’s red grape and fig, leather and unsweetened date. A lovely sipper with which to end our visit.

A bit more like a Hefe than I expected but still tasting very good and juicy.

 

Ha! As we discussed NE IPAs, I felt this was so well done all of a year ago. I still find it pretty darn good, but in no way as uniquely as I did originally. I still really like Ocelot brews, so maybe I am just being fickle.

 

I actually find it quite unique. Reminds me so much of Orange Bang!, a staple in Mexican cuisine in Southern California so very much enjoyable for me.
