Had a Wand last night. Love the aroma on this beer. Very drinkable IIPA. Glad to see these one offs in distro down here.

 

Grabbed my Benthic tonight. First time seeing the Balmoral space. Pretty cool spot. FSDDC is delicious. And damn, there are a lot of signs with Urlacher trying to sell me hair on the trek from the west burbs to HA. I'm sure they're paying you well Brian, but you look weird pal.

 

Fully Saturated is so good.

A little birdy mentioned Sailors Kush is coming back soon but in an even bigger way.

Anyone here attempting to get the The Whole Enchilada on Wednesday?

 

It looks like second drops of Benthic are hitting stores this week. I saw Printers Row got some yesterday (I believe they already got some the prior week), and DePaul Whole Foods had 2 bottles left around 5 pm yesterday.

 

I shouldn’t have used the word soon. I was trying to guess which beers would be returning, I mentioned plenty of beers, including Sailors Kush, and an employee said yes. Said they have thought about making it a triple ipa.
I don’t know if it’s been brewed yet, so who knows it’s thats final

 

Ah perfect. Let me cancel my appt. to donate plasma; I'll just do it when I actually need the money for SK.

Interesting, everything packaged will be at Balmoral. Well...I guess that saves me some money.

 

Am I missing something? Is Balmoral a reason to not get any of this? I've been there many times and loved it, so just curious if there's something I should know about...or perhaps some joke is just going over my head.

That's initially what I thought as well, but couldn't believe a couple miles distance would prevent someone from getting something they really liked. It's not like they have a location in Villa Park or something!

 

My wife takes the car to work, and I'm within walking distance of the Lincoln shop. Balmoral is a cool place, it's just more out of the way than I'm willing to go for Big Hugs.

To be clear, I'm not particularly enamored of BH (I've always thought it was their most overrated release); I usually swing by to pick up a bottle or two of Vanilla and/or BA (Vanilla is my favorite of the variants they package). I like Benthic exponentially more, so if that were what was happening at Balmoral, I'd consider showing up.

 

The Whole Enchilada pickup is Lincoln. The release is at Balmoral. So you can still do the former.
