    Just got back from Beer Hoptacular Fest in Chi and I was lucky enough to try Bell's Black Note 4 times tonight. At one point nobody knew they had tapped a second keg so I was able to get 2 back to back and then the wave came and the line grew. Cheers to all the volunteers!

    Sadly one of the last few cans I have, thankfully I might be getting some more in the next week or two, praise jah. Internet "hype" (ugh) or not, this is absolutely fantastic, and would definitely be as blown away by it as I am now if someone just handed me a can if I had never heard of it at all.

    Just got home from work. The brewer/owner of Calicraft brewery stopped by my store today and dropped off a bottle of his Buzzerkeley for me to try. Tastes more or less like Duvel, but perhaps a little sweeter. Not nearly as carbonated as I was expecting.

    If you weren't already aware they made a short film to go along with the album. Arcade Fire can make some beautiful music. Funeral is probably the only modern album to make me feel "emotional". Many members of the band experienced passing's of family members during the writing/recording and you can really hear and feel their thoughts on it. Cheers!

    I decided to continue Stout Day because I love stouts so damn much.

    Started with a fresh Bell's Expedition (bottled 10/02/2012). I haven't had one in about 2 years and I got a sixer so I decided to crack one before I put the other 5 away.

    Then I moved onto this, which is the only brew I have had from Magic Hat that I actually enjoyed. We just started carrying Magic Hat in AZ so I've only had this, #9 and Circus Boy. This is a pretty awesome stout.

    Been drinkin' Boulevard "Bob's 47" tonight. Pretty damned decent. Probably wouldn't go out of my way again, but very nice in a variety pack, and pretty in the glass.
