Tried Ripe Dreams DDH IPA at Maplewood over the weekend. Definitely tastes like a Roger beer. Highly recommended.

dont know about this one. didnt like pineapple nawi. had one day of canning and it was pretty good, vastly preferred peach but i enjoyed it.

cracked another can 2 days later for my brother at thanksgiving and he immediately passed it back, he guessed caramel was in it. i had a sip and was astounded by how different this second can tasted. i still have 2 more, we will see if it was a bad can.

Had a taste of this one a few weeks back and I thought it was good. Really intriguing style with the black milkshake.

Just an FYI that 2 years ago Hoppy Days was a clear west coast IPA. Not sure if it’s changed since then

It says 'clear brew' on the above post. No one can say they weren't warned.

Had a Goose Island Pith Lord on draft at Clybourn. Surprisingly good. Especially for a sub 6% beer. They might be on to something.

I haven't even tasted it yet and think this should replace GI IPA at Wrigley next year.

Who can help a suburbanite out  I am heading to the loop today and was looking for suggestions as to the most easily accessible breweries along I-90. I've been to Forbidden Root a few times so was looking for something different unless it is far and away the best option. Thanks in advance!

Revolution, Maplewood, Metropolitan, Hopewell, Piece, On Tour, Cruz Blanca, Haymarket are all close to 90

Maplewood, Rev, Hopewell and Piece are all close to each other. On TOur Cruz Blanca and Haymarket are all close to each other. I would probably choose some of the latter. If you are going to eat go to Piece and one of the other 3. If you aren't going to eat, go to Rev and Maplewood. Maplewood is one of my favorites in the city right now.

Love Maplewood, but just checked and they do not open until 3pm. I will be down around lunch time so it is looking like Forbidden Root again. I've always wanted to try Corridor but that is a hike from the expressway.

Cruz Blanca is a great option if you're eating too.

I had a Saint Errant Cheap Thrills last night and it's a miss for me. Really dull hop presence, no bitterness, and an unpleasant flavor that I can't really describe.

I feel like we’re in a little bit of a mini-slump around here for great hazy beers. Not saying there isn’t good stuff but I haven’t had something lately that made me want to buy multiple 4 packs
