    Try SNPA instead!

Love SNPA, definitely refreshing and a good choice for a session beer. I never really buy Corona myself, but occasionally it will be in my house (friends bringing over sixers and leaving some, etc.) and my point was that it's not so bad to the point where I will avoid it if it's within my grasp, and that it actually can be quite refreshing on a hot day.

But yeah, SNPA is a much better choice, haha.

Out of 1800 reviews it is my lowest rating. Pure swill.

Something like a Belgian Wit or flavorful Pilsener works in that situation too....and taste better ;-)

There's a place and time for every beer. Is Corona a well-crafted brew? Well of course it isn't if you dissect it and compare it to an American microbrew. But is Corona a refreshing beer that pairs well with Mexican food, or refreshing on a Mexican beach? Hell yes it is. Oh, but we're all beer snobs who get pleasure from cracking jokes about crappy beer. *yawn* So played ...

If it was half the price, I would buy it more often.

I can't stand Corona. If I'm in a Mexican restaurant and want a beer, I'll have a Pacifico, or a Dos Equis if they don't have Pacifico. Corona is just foul. And I say this as someone who is willing to drink PBR.

I always choose Pacifico over Corona, but I only ever drink either one at Mexican restaurants. I actually prefer an IPA with Mexican cuisine, so I'll only drink those if I don't have an IPA available to me.

So if we post over at car advocate we must agree that the pinto is a great car to appease this line of thinking? Sounds pretty stupid.

I've been waiting for people to come to their senses over Corona and its vulgar taste relative to that of other BMC offerings and I am still waiting and reckon I will always be waiting...

Everyone who says this does it with a holier-than-thou attitude and a self-assurance that deep inside, we know you're right and we're lying to ourselves. You're wrong. We do have our opinions and they're different from yours. If it's a hot day of Mexican food and beach relaxing, there is a long list of beverages I would choose over Corona.

    e.g.
    Water
    Iced coffee
    Horchata
    Mojito
    Rum + Pineapple Juice
    Licor 43
At least half of the other popular Mexican beers

I have no desire to drink one, beach-bound or not, please stop telling me that I do.

You just found a way to use my exact point and try to use it against me. Everyone on here is ripping someone for their choice of beer, because they see their choice as a poor one. Don't try to clip my legs out from under me while you're on your high horse, kettle.

Click "Reply" to quote someone. This went untouched, because most people probably realized what I was saying, unlike you.

    ...and you.

Tastes fine to me. I don't search it out, but if someone's got one and they're going to share, I'll take it. Usually something I think about around the pool or beach.

I wasn't necessarily criticizing you, I was just surprised some angry.....person...... didn't slam you for it (or even defend themselves), which I have seen for much, much less.

Corona sucks as much as Bud and will be a welcome addition to the Bud family of crap. It is a popular lawnmower beer where they have to add lime in order to stand the flavor. Why are we talking about it on a site dedicated to good beer?

On a hot summer day, give me a Dos Equis. They definitely have their time and place but you can keep the Corona.
