Ok, I am getting tired of logging on here and not seeing an OK beer news forum. There seem to be several posts concerning Oklahoma beer, but I would rather see them posted under one forum. I know that Oklahoma beer is growing, but we are still small enough now to keep it under one thread.

I tried the Rodenbach Grand Cru...did not read the back label. I am not fond of sour beers and it confirmed that I am still not fond of sour beers.

I have a Prairie Artisan Ale still sitting in my fridge, waiting on Chase's advice to let it age. I will let you know.

The Great Divide Hibernation Ale is awesome, in my opinion as well as the Rumble.

Please go to Grandads in OKC on 23rd Street. They have good beers (F-5, Velvet Rooster, Black Mesa) and it is a wonderful atmosphere with laid back bluegrass, rockabilly and vintage country on the sound track. No big screen TV's, but a couple of old time tube televisions to keep track of the games. Also....no smoking...but I did see vaping.

We opened about 40 bottles of Prairie Ale this weekend. I'm very happy with where it is. The Brett is starting to kick up. I'd drink it now.

Brothers, please let us keep OKbeernews. Texas clogs things up and our posts get lost.

Prairie Ale is excellent, the Brett was perfectly prevalent, I dig it.
El Cucuy '12 is next to try.

Hitting up Pint Nite (Maredsous Tripel) with the fam this evening,
    Cheers

P.S. Got an Our Special Ale '12 &
Rodenbach for my birthday, stoked to try. Thank you saramisu!
    Good Times!

Did Tallgrass relabel their Oasis? It says Imperial ESB now across the top.

Good, well now we know It's a more recent can, the oasis that's still at some stores just does not taste right.

If we are not getting Brux or Northern Hemisphere...and we didn't get Estate,
It's doubtful that we'll be seeing this beer.

Freeman's had cuvée jacobins (heavenly), celebration, cheer, the Sam Adams winter stuff, the Guinness winter packs, red hook winter warmer, and probably a few other things as of tonight. Grabbed some celebration and jacobins as I doubt it will last long. Best sour I've ever had.

First, Grandads was a bunch of fun on friday. I second JPatrick's nod to check it out if youre in OKC.

Second, kudos to Prairie Ales. Great job with my favorite style of beer! Cant wait to have one in a year or so.

Third, I dont know any big beer nerds in OKC. Would anyone be up for a tasting? if so hit me up.
