Which of their beers in stores are NEIPA style?

Just about all their IPA are either straight up NEIPA, or very much within that ballpark. Some stuff like Softly Spoken Magic Spells has a bit of that piney bitterness, but still very soft and juicy.

Been a year or two since I have been there, I used to drink a ton of Mo Shuggie and they were my alternative to Other Half line life until linelife died. Last beers I had from them were two 4 packs of Billy Full Stack that sucked , I drain poured all of them. Made a comment on their Facebook page to make Billy Full Stack great again, they deleted it, done with them since then.

I disagree. While some of them go toward the NE style spectrum, I think most of their IPAs are more old school/west coast style or a hybrid west coast/NE style. Softly Spoken Magic Spells is very malty and west coast to me. I don't have a problem with that, and I like Singlecut beers a lot, but at their price point most aren't worth it.

They're not the straight up juice bombs with no bitterness, but all of them have a very full mouthfeel rather than the crispness I associate with west coast IPA, even on beers like SMSS that definitely do have a maltiness to them. I guess I wouldn't say that their main approach is "prototype NE style," but if somebody's looking for new options in that ballpark, I don't think they'd be turned off by many of their IPA, as long as they're fresh and not off-cans.

But I'd also definitely characterize SMSS as kind of a New England/west coast hybrid, but that's definitely on the maltier side of their portfolio.

I love how in 2018 a defining characteristic of WCIPAs is their maltiness.

I’d put SC in the NEIPA zone as well, generally speaking. Though it’s been months since I bought anything from them.

Singlecut thinks they can sell $22 4 packs "from the brewery" in Clifton Park NY. They're in for a rude awakening.

What makes you say that? (aside from the obvious that $22/4 pk is completely insane)

Because there are many breweries in that region that sell superior beer for $16/4 pk of the same style.

Not to mention SC has a history of batch variation (and not for the better).

Yeah Sloop drops their DDH IPAs around here at like $15 a 4-pack. Industrial Arts drops theirs for $17. Mikkeller pale ales and IPAs are $14-18 a 4-pack. Burlington Beer Co is cheaper. Common Roots is cheaper.

I'll go to Singlecut to drink at the bar when they open, but I sure as hell will not be paying $22 for a 4-pack at the damn brewery. That's preposterous.

Welp, they sold out of the $22 4x packs rather quickly. That doesn't really mean anything tho, because who knows how many cases they actually had. In my experience, the people of the Adirondack region aren't as ravenous as say, a Queens/BK crowd, when it comes to DDH haze and their willingness to shell out $20+ on 4 packs. I could be wrong. There's supposedly a bunch of new money up there, so maybe Singlecut can continue the trend of overpriced beer directly from the brewery.

Welcome to the club. They've been doing this for years in Queens. I refuse to pay $22 for any 4pk would rather just drink it at the bar. But went yesterday and they didn't have either of the new cans up on draft picked up ddh Bon Bon for $20 its been a while since I had a Bon Bon and it was tasty.

There's plenty of new money in this area, yes, but $22-from-the-brewery 4-packs are absolutely not tenable up here and they're gonna find that out. Brown's, whose IPAs I would take over Singlecut, sells at $13 a 4-pack.

"new money" what does this mean again? Is that people who work and earn their own money as opposed to "old money" having a fortune passed down from older generations?

"New money" is a pejorative to describe the kinds of younger people that are usually upper middle class but act like Victorian-era British nobility. Versus, yeah, old money being generational/familial wealth where that tends not to be the case quite as much.

I think you kind of made his point though. Old money is not a pejorative.

The new money insult in the UK must mean something different. Someone like Trump (naff as fuck - ie cheesy all-gold bathrooms) would be the epitome of the concept over there.
