This. I'm so tired of people complaining about bundled sales from mom&pops. Shut up. I'm sorry you can't raid all their Vanillas, Reserves and Props for max profitz. Binny's LP did EXACTLY this and nobody batted an eye. And I'm sure Goose Island folks knew of Binny's plan to sell bundles considering the scale of that particular event.

I’m not getting the comments about Prop being so sweet. I get huge dark chocolate flavors, which is a bitter chocolate. Not ,ugh sweetness at all. I guess that’s just palates being palates.

Had a bottle of Midnight Orange tonight; was surprised how much I liked it. They really nailed the dark chocolate orange candy concept.

I went from being unsure that I should've gotten 2 of Orange, to being salty I didn't get 3 instead of getting a second Bramble.

I got tons of bakers chocolate in the nose; however, the flavor was cocoa, caramel & milk chocolate with just a hint of bakers chocolate.

That hint saved this from being a bramblebortion for me, but I wish that dark chocolate note was more pronounced in the flavor.

    YMMV.

Yeah, I got pretty much all bakers chocolate taste. It was just my bottle that I opened last weekend that I finally got a bit of that milk chocolate. Still not enough to make it sweet to me, though.

FYI World Market in LP has Vanilla, Midnight Orange and Regular on the shelf for $2 less than Binny's. Had quite a few orange and a handful of vanilla left when I was there yesterday afternoon.

I would *not* have thought to look there. Called my local store and they're sold out.

Any Target sightings yet this year? That's always entertaining.

Pretty sure it’s cooked. Only two regulars left On the shelf. Suspect the variants were next to them. Dang.

I don't know what everyone is talking about with Bramble. I don't get any fruit out of it... :joy:

They were on the beer shelf with the rest of the beer. Far right end of the beer, only the regular had it's own tag. The variants had stickers on the bottles.

Reserve was also included prop day last year.

There's definitely less of it . Reserve had fairly significant national distribution if I recall (despite the initial talk if it being Chicago and KY only). Haven't heard many out of staters talking about getting any this round

I've seen it pop up in several other markets, especially New York. That was part of the reason I asked. Seemed easier for the out of staters this year (from the discussions I have had) than last year.

I suspect more Reserve found it’s way into kegs to be a marquee draw for places since BCBS has become omnipresent on draft.

Could not agree more. If anything I think Prop has more bitterness than regular, because it's all dark chocolate/cocoa.
