I remember the old days when people had actual jobs and beer used to be a hobby. Better times.

 

Good times today.

 

How good?

 

3 times through the AC line and 2 times through hidden springs.

 

So just kind of good

 

We only made one trip through the AC line, then headed to Hidden Springs. Got our two bottles there, then went in to the tap room to sample BA Birthdsy Cake on draft. SFG ,,,,it sent us back
in line for more, very happy that we were able to snag two more of those as they were definitely the highlight of local Black Friday releases for me, inclusive of the GI stuff I tried.

 

BA El Cucuy is surprisingly delicious. I can't believe I've barely heard anyone talk about it. Think it suffers from people not having any idea how to pronounce it?

 

I think it suffers from having peppers as the prime adjunct and a terrifying demon on the label making it seem like it will destroy tastebuds. I’ve been terrified to open any of my bottles until I have like 10 people to share with.

 

Just drank half a bottle and my old lady drank the other half loving the hell out of it. Close to Mexican Cake spice levels, sure but nothing like the super hot beers out there, or like the overly chipotle flavored ones like Muerte. Still plenty of chocolatey vanilla gooeyness and even some barrel character coming thru. But yes, it's not shy on the spiciness.

 

So looking forward to next weeks anniversary bash. Who else is in attendance? Wife and I and two buddies hitting the evening session.

 

How was the new bottle they dropped today? Heard it didn't sell out.

 

Had it on draft at the anniversary party, coffee bomb and I thought it was delicious. Looking forward to cracking a bottle.

 

Did anyone else see on their Instagram story yesterday that their weekly calendar said “bottle BA IGCCS” for today? Trolling or legit?

 

I saw and figured it’s a big time troll job, but fingers crossed.

This isn’t fair! I have to work on Thursday and nkw instead of showing up late to work a few days I miss everything all together! I want this changed to accommodate me!
