Well I sure hope it’s better than a year-round shelf pale ale

I’d say Pseudo Sue is better than just a “shelf pale ale”.

Coming to Chicago Spring '19 (yes i know TG arriving late in Chicago is an old joke, but it's still relevant)

It's an old joke that is still funny, though I don't think it's relevant? It really isn't happening much any more from my experience.

It didn’t make sense to keep this in bombers so it’s progress. Hopefully Hopsmack follows suit in 2019

You guys see Sosus yet? Showed up down here. Canned 12/7. They even started adding the canned on date to each can, and not just the box. So it has canned on and best by dates now. $17.99 per 4. Excited to see this in cans. What was a bomber, $11-12 per?

I’ll be looking for those cans! Love that Mosaic DIPA. Thanks for the heads up.

These cans are on the floor at the Plainfield Binny’s.

Sosus cans are good, but not $18 good.

They're on the floor at Binny's Bolingbrook, also. Picked up a 4 pack yesterday, and drank two already. Delicious.

So a bomber was worth $12-$15, but triple that quantity isn't worth $4-6 more?

Not to start the whole debate on the pricing for the 10,000th time, but paying a few dollars more for a proven commodity I know I really like is well worth it vs. saving those few dollars for something I know I will like less, or even worse dropping monies on some latest hype boiz haze craze of the month.

And not to continue with the "everybody's opinion is subjective" MO, but even $18/4-pack is a bit high for me from a brewery who struggles so much with consistency between batches on a lot of their IPA offerings. If I can do a mix-n-match 4-pack somewhere I'd probably throw a Sosus can in there, but I've been burned on their IPA's too many times.

We all have our reasons why we buy what we buy, and consume what we consume. I guess I've been fortunate not to be burned by their consistency issues in IPAs. Granted, I come on here and read a few reviews/look at few photos before deciding whether to grab latest distro batch or not.

I was burned once on a 4 pack of Sue earlier this year. It went all snow globe on me(but still tasted pretty good) after just a couple weeks in the fridge. Only time I've bought their stuff and it wasn't delicious. To each their own, though.

It’s not a pricing thing. Their products continue to suffer from inconsistency. At these prices, this shouldn’t be an issue. This latest batch is not even close to some previous ones.

What seems different about it related to previous batches? (Genuine question).
