Good morning BAs! Lovely day in SWF and the dogs have been walked. Let’s start with a little Revolution this morning:

This BBA Stout is waking me up! Cheers and have a great Monday!

Yesterday’s brew day on the Gulf of Mexico:

While we were brewing, dolphins visited and wished us much beer success:

Hope the dolphins don’t drink too much of your beers...Cheers!

It's afternoon around here and I just got home. Had a good day and something to celebrate so I figured a good beer on a Monday was well deserved.
Beavertown Lupuloid, a 6.7% ABV IPA. And what a fantastic beer! I think I have a new favorite IPA. It's really well balanced between hoppy and fruity. The carbonation gives a fantastic mouthfeel. Really digging this! Happy Monday BA

Going big, deep, and heavy to start the day...
With Half Acre's Benthic imperial stout (12.8% abv)...
Bourbon barrel-aged, brewed with coffee and coconut...
Rich aromas of chocolate, bourbon, molasses, vanilla and coffee on the nose... Flavors follow in like kind, sweet with chocolaty coffee and sticky molasses, accentuated by vanilla, sweet bourbon, and hints of chewy coconut... Very rich and sweet, little to no bitterness; full-bodied and a little sticky; otherwise soft and smooth... A real decadent treat...

    Cheers...

I think it's the first beer I've ever tried from them but I'll definitely gonna keep my eyes open for more. Any favorites you can recommend?

    Good morning BA
I mostly pass on 3F bombers because of price, but this 2 week old Permanent Funeral lured me in...

Excellent DIPA. Not a bargain, but excellent. I start nightshifts tonight, so this should be it. Cheers all and enjoy the beer in your glass today!

Because it happened! Super-delicious BBA stout action...

Didja see that pathetic Steelers' loss last night? Seems like they're intent on the 4th seed, but if they're not careful, and Baltimore is, they could end up at number 6 or out of the playoffs entirely... I mean, you know they're gonna drop two more this season, to the Saints and the Patriots, so their best possible record (realistically) at this point is 9-6-1... *smh*

    Alright, football rant aside...

The chargers need a playoff appearance more, was glad to see rivers pull it off. Those guys usually have the worst luck.

Though I'm a Steelers guy, I can't argue with you - Rivers is a class guy - though I doubt he'll ever play in a Super Bowl unless he outlasts Brady and Belichick...

The aroma first struck me as sweet malt overlain with citrus and floral scents. It was after I read the label I realized those were due to the Kaffir lime leaves, ginger and chamomile. These scent tones are not strong by any means, rather sort of mild and very pleasant.

Taste is medium bodied sweet grain with the citrus-floral influence present from start to finish. Rather simple flavors but well combined in a way that each complements the other. There is also a spicy element highlighted by the Belgian yeast notes of ripe yellow fruit and clove. A relaxing and pleasing combination.

At the bar for lunch and drinking Cloudwater’s “A*WIS One-Off DDH Pale 1” hopped with Denali, and yes, the keg was sent from Manchester, UK:

Great stuff. Looks like a NEIPA and is juicy, but the body is so light and drinkable - this is my 2nd pint! Great skunky nose with very lite bitterness, lemongrass and dank weedy flavors...some say Cloudwater is the best brewery in Europe :wink:!
