Maybe he wants something more official than just hearsay from some guy on a beer forum.

Wooly Pig is going to release a Saison soon, this week I think, in celebration of their year anniversary.

I believe they're doing the saison this Friday and then a separate anniversary lager on the 15th.

I've only made it there once but I was pretty convinced from that single trip that they're doing the best lagers in the state right now.

How about a bottle shop saying to expect kegs by next week. Would that be more official?

I have been able to visit several times now, and everything I have had has been top notch. Sadly, they will never have the cache of a Hoof Hearted or something because they aren't blowing minds with hazy IPAs, but they are some great, easy drinking beers.

It is also wonderful how well Coshocton County is supporting them. My wife is a teacher up there, and all her teacher friends head out there on weekends. The place is often packed.

A bar here in Cincy is tapping M-40 and Boss Tweed this Friday, so I'd say it's fair to say that Old Nation is "New to Ohio".

Beer Engine in Lakewood is also tapping it soon, but this upcoming Monday, along with M-43.

Market District Grandview Yard has one of each Old Nation kegs on preorder. I'd expect them in early next week.

The Schwarz is as good as any I’ve had from Germany. And the Eins is better than anything Hoof could ever dream of making. It’s packed all the time now and it’s amazing how far people travel from when I talk to them. Considering we have no other reason outside of Wineries to be here. Which school does she teach in? Could have one of my kids.

I called my local distributor in Youngstown about Old Nation, and they had no idea, but gave me the number for the Dayton office. Nice guy there went looking about it sent me this:

"A order has been placed but it has not been shipped. Youngstown is to be one of the first distributing to get it. We are only getting 16oz cans and draft. That’s the info we have. At least you know a little more"

I'm not sure what to believe since we've seen it in other areas of the state already.

Thanks for all the responses. I guess i should have just waited a few days as M-43 and Boss Tweed are hitting Canton on draft, along with Perennial Abraxas in bottles.
