Still have an opened bottle of the 13th, which I know you're not supposed to age, but I have various aging Bastards and am curious. So much sediment at the bottom of the bottle in comparison. Basically up to the kink in the bottle.

It's turned into an unseasonably beautiful day here in MN. So I'm spending some time outside with the dogs and some gueuze:

Fuck anyone drinking Celebration. I'm getting very impatient. I don't understand why places further east than Pittsburgh have it if we don't.

Making a massive pot of chili and drinking celebration ales while it cooks for the next four hours. Then I'll probably have a Backwoods Bastard when it's time to eat.

Just finished an Otter Creek Hop Session Ale, which is new and agreeable. It's somewhat similar to 21st Amendment's Bitter American, but at an even lower ABV (4.2%). Not much of an online photo presence, so instead let's get a glimpse of the production process as if this post were a middle school field trip:

Ooooooh. Aaaaaaaah. If only there were a gift shop.

Up next, a seasonal highlight straight outta Chico:

Don't get too crazy, now. I'm one state over (Arizona) and haven't seen it. :/ Hoping soon, though. It's odd... we seem to get stuff like Odell and Bell's (lucky to get Bell's at all) quicker than we get stuff like Stone or some SN releases.

You're drinking a MUCH BETTER beer anyway. Celebration is decent, but it's no Flower Power! Enjoy!

I see Brooklyn Brewery pints and tulip pints on here so often. Did everyone get these free too?

I didn't even buy Brooklyn. I was leaving my distro and the dude was like "Wait, can you take some glass off of me? We don't sell a lot of Brooklyn and these glasses are just taking up space". It was my first glass that wasn't a basic shaker pint. It saw many beers before being retired for my tulip snifter and my etched SN pint.

My wife and I are enjoying a Sierra Nevada Estate right now. Good stuff!

Headed to Dogfish Alehouse in a bit for dinner and probably some Burton Baton and 75 Minute.

The other dog looks very jealous, as am I. If......I gave to my son the Classic Geuze and he loved it, do I have a problem. I need to get a can of Bud so he can hate beer as I did when I was his age. He will respect beer when he grows up.
