Well, I got caught slacking on updates. Don't blame me, there's been quite a few lately (and they're not done yet!)

    New Beer Up!

Sour, Spruce, and Cranberry. There's two more releases - Liberator and Uber Goober - and a variety pack left to close out the year.

Man, Exterior Illumination knocked my sucks off. Cranberry sour just perfect for the holidays.

My fridge is full but I think I'm going to go look for it anyway. It just sounds juicy, bitter delicious.

I'm curious to know what everyone thought of the Bonsai Project? I just picked up a 6-pack and have yet to dive in.

This beer is what I have always loved about Short's: Their drive to push the envelope and their passion to experiment with the traditional, and I couldn't resist a gin and tonic beer inspired by the concept of a black and tan.

Regardless of how it ultimately tastes, I love the idea

A buddy and I split a 6 a couple weekends ago, and weren’t wowed by it. The beers on their own weren’t as good as them mixed together, but all three were just OK. Not bad, but far from great.

I do agree that it was a really cool idea though.

BTW, we are both Short’s fanboys...

Good idea, so-so execution. I agree with @Buck_Jones, they were better together than separate, and OH was definitely better than MI. My wife really liked them however, so she ended up drinking the bulk of the six pack

A few of my northern Ohio local bottle shops received superfluid cans this week. Didn't notice anything on the release schedule about superfluid and never saw it in cans until now. Was this a special release, part of a wider release, or possibly older stock that the distributor or store has been holding back?

It's a seasonal for January, maybe they launched early? They should be new since this'll be the first time Superfluid has been canned. Check the bottom, Short's has been pretty good about date stamping

Probably an early release of the 2019 offering as mentioned. It’s never been in cans before as far as I know. I kinda hope not because if they offer it in early January it’ll have 5 weeks on it. I’ll gladly buy 5 week old Superfluid but historically have enjoyed having the option to drink with 1-2 weeks or just wait.......

Either way if you haven’t had Superfluid I encourage to give it a shot! It has a very unique and distinct flavor profile that can’t be confused with any other IPA. I’d imagine it’s an either love it or leave beer (I’m in the love it crowd)

Superfluid has always been on the schedule as a December release, although cans is a nice surprise!

Is the Super Hoppy Holidays pack $30+ in Michigan, too?

$29.99 at my Meijer in Illinois, and that's the sale price they have marked. I think it was $31.99 or $32.99 prior to that... Kinda sucks that the same store chain has a $5-7 difference on it.

Nice!, I must have forgot/overlooked it on the schedule and saw it recently on the 2019 schedule for Jan, Feb.

My local store (other than Meijer's 'sale' price @ $25.99) is $28.99 plus deposit ($1.20) and sales tax gets us closer to your price.
