Bottled Celebration holds up WAYYY better than FLower Power. Flower power on tap is amazing but even my Oct. 11th flower power isn't too hoppy

In percussion, at least, jazz tends to be very demanding technique-wise compared to other popular genres, so people who have achieved some expertise technique-wise usually have had experience with jazz. Many of the great rudimental teachers have either a marching or jazz background, or both, so many young musicians who go to good teachers start out with jazz. And metal can also be demanding technique-wise, so some who "have the chops" to make good metal got them from jazz.

I totally agree! Flower Power wasn't really meant to be cellared... although... I will soon be finishing a two year IPA experiment and tasting 6 IPA's that I cellared two winters ago... Flower Power, Harpoon Leviathan Imperial IPA, DFH 90, DFH Burton Baton, Troegs Nugget Nectar and ST 2XIPA. I'll be doing this and posting the results in Feb '13. This could be interesting... or a total waste of 6 beers and cellar space! I have a good feeling about hitting a homerun on 4 out of 10 of these!

I expect a nice buzz and a lot of "wow"s...nice line up!

If I had to find a weakness, I would say you might run into some palate fatigue and everything will start to taste the same. Not sure how many you have in your group, but if you have enough, you might want to sprinkle a few different styles in between. Cheers!
