I'm sure you've all heard by now that Sierra Nevada created a beer recipe, and is inviting every brewery to the same beer, on the same day, with proceeds going to Cali fire relief. Who has word of NW breweries jumping in on this? @Texwild , what do the folks you talk to say?

Boneyard and Wild Ride are the two I know of in Central Oregon.

Edit: Add Silver Moon, Immersion, and Mystic Roots to the list.

I'm wondering how tightly the recipes will match. Since the ingredients are being donated, maybe there's some good conformity, but I wouldn't be surprised if Brewers can't resist tinkering. 13 Central Oregon breweries are participating, and I think science demands that I try to arrange some sort of horizontal tasting.

There's been talk of arranging Resilience as a New Beer Sunday group tasting as well, perhaps you could time the horizontal to align with that effort too?

Ecliptic is brewing one. I don't know about any other breweries in Portland.

Portland: Ex Novo, Widmer, Stormbreaker, Great Notion, Level, HOTD, Ecliptic, Unicorn (what the Portland U-Brew calls itself these days).

Plus a few from the burbs.

It's a pretty basic recipe... calling for cascade and centennial. Although that's not to say obviously it's for a great cause of course.

I was surprised at the lack of larger established breweries from Seattle taking part. No Reubens, Fremont, etc.

Well, pretty much every brewery I'm familiar with donates a lot as it is, and sometimes the answer has to be no. I prefer to believe that the breweries that aren't brewing this beer are just choosing a different area to make contribution.

New kid on the block Humble Abode (I'll be checking them out once all my Xmas shopping is done) is also representing Spokane, as is No-Li.

Badass Backyard Brewing is joining 12 String repping for Spokane Valley.

Big Barn, in nearby Mead, is also on board.

Looks like Hunga Dunga in Moscow is north Idaho's sole participant. My buddy Mark is a rep for them.

With 6k+ breweries named already, somebody’s creativity is gonna take them in some unexpected directions. If Hunga Dunga makes solid beer, I’ll overlook the name...
