    Good day, all! St. Bernardus Christmas Ale. I got this on Black Friday last year, and I'm not sure how much age it had on it then. I'll tell you what, though: it's unbelievable now. This is what all other Christmas beers want to be when they grow up. Santé!

    I was shocked to find 2013 parabola at a supermarket.. I did not how how they got the bottles I just picked up 4 of them

    No burn at all, this is drinking so smooth that I finished half the bottle as I write this post cheers

    We’ve (the wife) been shopping all afternoon in Stockbridge; night has fallen (it’s 4pm). I’ve managed to sneak off to the pub for a pint of Tiny Rebel’s “CLWB Tropical IPA”:



    Light feeling, good looking beer. Mango, papaya, and a bit weedy. At 5.5% a poundable tasty IPA. Cheers from Edinburgh!

    A wasted trip to the dog groomer this morning had me in a rare foul mood. It seems they only scheduled one of them for unexplained reasons and couldn't squeeze in the other. Their attitude was unapologetic and pretty shitty to say the least. I prefer to keep them together, so I walked out with two shaggy mutts. I guess it's time to search for another groomer with better customer service?

    What I'm not wasting is this bottle of Expedition dated 09/19/13 that I discovered in the freezer last night. I put in there for a quick chill a couple of weeks ago and forgot about it.:open_mouth: My fear was the cap may have been compromised so I decided to open it now. On the bright side there's still good carbonation and the taste is as decadent as the one I recently had. I feel better already!:slight_smile:

    Waiting for the sun to get the temperature above freezing so I can repair the decorations that didn't do too well in yesterday's high winds. Cheers barflies!

    Lampshade...



    Golden honey colored body; thick, frothy, sticky head. Sweet and fruity nose; dried strawberries. Honey-sweet flavor offset with a fine bitterness. Crisp, sugary mouthfeel; warm with a light alcohol presence.

    One of the finest double IPAs I've come across. Nicely balanced and rich with flavor and depth.
