I've verified there is a difference...does that change anything? Joking aside, there are records available on certain social media sites that track this, and SR-71 is indeed a VR unit or so higher than KBBS b3, at least from the most recent tracking I could find.

There's at least 1 magnitude fewer SR71 than KBBS. Excluding the difference between B1 and B2.

If I was looking for "fair market," I would ask for more than KBBS, and I am in no way a shit lorder. Unless I wanted KBBS, then I'd be fine with 1:1.

Would WLW go 1:1 with KBBS B4/B3?

The main resource on the internet has the last value for Kbbs b3 at 4 VR and the last value on SR-71 at 5 VR.

I personally think this is great offer. Both are extremely sought after bottles and are the exact same price when comparing cost at the brewery and MSRP. Seems like a both sides are happy type trade.

You know this Horus thing is a complete mystery to me. I've never seen a brewer go right into a having a membership program let alone charging more for their beer than any other brewer in the area for non-BA beers. As I recall the proper dose was limit 4pp and $45 a bottle retail. You heard that right. Members could pull prob 10 bottles but I would find it ridiculous for someone to buy up that much. I hear really good things about the thickness. I feel like the proper dose side is prob needs a sub on the FOb4 to make this worthwhile. It's more or less $4$.

Looking to gauge the value of FO b2 ... I was hoping to trade it for MD b5 and Bourbon County Brand Stout Vanilla x2.

    Would I need to add a +?

    Thanks for helping!

Are you trying to get all 3 bottles for 1 FOb2? If so, then I think you'd definitely need a plus. I'm not sure it would go 1:1 with MDb5 but maybe. I think you'd need to add for the additional bottles.

Gotcha ... that is what I was trying to figure out. I just had not seen one trade in some time.

    Thank you for the feedback!

If anyone is curious about a closed trade involving KBBS b4, I closed a deal the Sunday after the release. For KBBS I received BBT b1, Forager Nillerzzz and '18 BC reserve in return. I'm happy with that especially since I got a chance to try KBBS on tap during the release. That made the decision to let the bottle go much easier.

If you're happy, everyone should be happy for you as well. Cheers man. The beers you got back are very solid.

I'm just curious as to why this would be $4$? Horus was $45 after fees and FOb4 was around $28. If fob4 is pulling a Proper dose then please send one my way please, but unfortunately it doesn't.

I wonder how hard they're laughing now. The beer has now been released, and I think it's fair to say that it's something of a let down. What I think a lot of folks failed to remember (or notice or care), is that GN has never made a BA stout before. I think that shows in this beer.

The beer is very sweet and a tad boozy, and is dominated by flavors of maple and vanilla (I would say). The barrel aging seems to have subsumed a lot of the qualities you normally pick up in the regular DS (no coffee or pancake aroma/flavor that I could detect). They were selling 5 ounce glasses at the brewpub yesterday for $8 a pop. Frankly, I can't imagine drinking more than that at a sitting (the sweetness really wears on you), and found it a chore to even drink that.

It's a decent beer, don't get me wrong, but IMHO this is not a beer I'd go out of my way for on the trading forum. I would not trade 3 VR's for it.

I might be way out of my element here, but thoughts on pulling a batch 1 DDG?

Would Maman 2018 + Perennial Blend 2018 + Pips Levitation even come close?

I think he meant that my offer of FO b4 + Kentuckley is $4$, which sounds about right to me. Someone else earlier chimed in thinking FO b4 should go 1:1 with Dose, but I havent seen or have found that to work. Even my Kentuckley + FO b4 got crickets....just hard to pull a beer people really like even with a 'fair' offer, especially when offering a beer (FO b4) a lot in SoCal had access to. I since posted a list of beers in hopes the right set of eyes will see it.
