Adam and I don't play games together :slight_frown: I'm 360 and he's PC-- even though I've been willing to compromise if he were to play on Steam. I was actually probably playing with my friend Chris Tripp (Kgristoff). Date nights are no fun if someone is barfing :|

Haha I'm going to have to disagree with you, don't get me wrong, I love spicy things, but I cannot stand these. My girlfriend on the other hand would agree whole heartedly with you....maybe it's a lady thing...?

This happened to me last winter after i had my first stout which was ten fidy. I went nuts drank all of the RIS I could find in 2 days and in process got the worst hangover of my life. After that anytime i even smelled a stout i got nauseous and threw up. I had to work my way back up over this past year by drinking brown ales than porters and am now finally able to enjoy the big RIS again. To make sure this doesnt happen again i limit myself 1 stout a night

You've convinced me to postpone my surgery. It's really not that bad yet. I'm hard of hearing, wear glasses, so smell and taste are my two best senses and I feel no great need to touch beer.

The surgery itself was not too bad, but for sure wait until after the holidays so you can enjoy all the good food and drink. It was worth it in the long run overall.

This happens to me after a long summer of pilsners and IPAs and such... I'm always ready for the Oktoberfests and porters and then the stouts and barleywines for winter... After 3-4 months of that, I always find myself saying, "I'm ready for some hops!" And the cycle repeats and repeats and....

Am in a similar phase of not liking Saisons, and am finding a bitter aftertaste that didn't seem to bother me before, no matter what brand the Saison is from.

Hmm. Lagers, Pilsners, and Porters just haven't been cutting it lately. Had dev. septum surgery and I can tell you it will be a few days-weeks before you'll want anything. I also had my adenoids taken out though which really destroyed my throat. Sorbet diet.

It's all in your head. The brain is a fucking incredible thing and we'll probably never understand exactly how it works.

I used to love IPAs and DIPAs. I just don't have a use for them anymore and haven't for about 3 years.

After three cases of Innis and Gunn Rum Cask, I don't want another rum anything for a while. Had a keg of Russian Imperial Stout once that I drank over a couple of months, started in winter and was still drinking it in the Spring. That got old.

This is not out of the ordinary. I got sick of IPA's and would not drink them for a few months, and now I can't get enough of them. There are so many different styles you can always find something to tide you over.

This happened to me with many Belgian beers and I just don't have any desire for them anymore, even though I once enjoyed them. I am the type that can go through beer phases too however, the desire for Belgian beers has never returned, and it's been a good 6+ months now (at least).

And for the record it definitely wasn't burn out either, as I didn't consume them regularly.
