42. Still a baby. I am 66. Got a kid almost your age (36 and 29).

I am a retired CPA. Got a pension, Social Security and Medicare. Anyway, I did well with investments. I am a dumbass in most things but did well with investments.

got myself in trouble on WBAYDN offering free investment advice. But i am here if you want to talk retirement. Just talk. No money changes hands. Not bragging but I do not need more money. Just would like to help a brother on this thread.

I would send you a pic of my granddaughter but that would be bragging.

I’m Union...I never work that hard. I’m still fairly young. I want to wish my way to retirement but truth be told, I want to watch my girls grow up and I don’t want to wish that away because one day they’ll be teenagers and hate me.

I am so glad that we talk this stuff. My two best friends overindulged. Both are dead. One left a wife and two baby daughters. My brother drank himself to death. Was in a nursring home on life support from his mid thirties until he died 20 years later.

It is true. I drink too much but did not the whole time my kids grew up.

Gotta be honest. If i could get medical pot, I would buy it. Gotta be better than drinking as much as I do. Plus I am told that it helps with MS muscle spasms.

Anyway my friend, your wife and kids are the most important things in your life. I know you know this.
