The Alchemist coming to CA

    Looks like more Heady and Focal are showing up at stores this week. Holiday Wine in Escondido, Bottlecraft in San Diego, and Bine & Vine in San Diego all got some. If it's like the last shipment, most decent bottle shops should get an allotment.

    Yup. Heard some Total Wine got some in this week. Just in time for Christmas. I’ve already got too much cans in my Christmas Firidge. I’ll pass on this one.

    Pliny appears every week or two - and disappears. Santa shows up once a year and he's still mighty popular.

    I'm guessing Alchemist won't be on the shelves very long this week.

    The Pig has been showing up almost every week at my local. Last week they got 3 cases in. They also had 3 cases of the Elder. I've been digging the Pig. More than the Elder. Pigs on the wing. Pigs in the air. Pigs are everywhere.

    How about Happy Hops? Or STS Pils? I've been most excited to get access to regular STS without having to drive up north. And stores no longer sticking to the 1pp on Pliny is great as well.

    Raul went to the school of Mary J Blige - he is not a hater. But these two SoCal drops do not remind me of what I traded for back in 2013. Back then, Heady was this citrus haze bomb in which I had never seen the likes of before. Now, like a few months ago, it tastes like a caramel ipa. Like the Kardashians in HD, I do not agree.
