Wait until they release their true sour (lambics and blends). That is all.

It's on draft and it's legit. You get the barrel flavors as it warms. Love this place.

Place is as packed as I have ever seen it. Still only a 10 min wait for cans. Double Burst is really fantastic.

I got there right about 6. No line for anything but parking was almost full. Double Burst is creamy delicious

Have to go to Hartford next Friday and I have been wanting to visit or try fox farm for a while. I know tree house isn’t far from Hartford either but I’m not a fan of line vibes or crowds in general. Is fox farm a pretty laid back environment to have a beer and get something to go? Thanks for any help that anyone provides. Cheers.

Depending on what day and what time of day you’re in the area Tree House may not be that bad in terms of lines. Unfortunately crowds are almost always a thing there.

Thanks, I really prefer to visit fox farm since they seem to have more variety of beer and it seems like a nice laid back place. Does fox farm tend to get crazy too?

Nope. Even if they release something super special on Friday, it's never "crazy". And it's very laid back. Enjoy!

Agreed. A bit of busy bustling but nothing more. About as chill as can get. Crappy weather will ****** the atmosphere a bit but head upstairs where it is warm and picturesque.

That's fantastic that someone visiting from out of state would rather go the Fox Farm than Tree House!

And @jonphisher, if you're staying in Hartford itself, City Steam Brewery is often overlooked. Solid beer, one of the original breweries in the state.

IPAs are equally as enjoyable as Tree House and the rest of Fox Farms’ portfolio easily surpasses TH in all other categories.

Thanks for the info, actually will be in Farmington staying near family. Sadly won’t have much time while in town my plan is to make fox farm pit stop on the way up Friday afternoon. Don’t want to derail thread but any suggestions for local shelfie lagers I should try and scoop up if I make it to a package store? Yea I know my CT lingo haha.

@epoole3 thanks for the input as well. Really looking forward to a beer or two and some growlers and cans to go (if they have any on Friday). Cheers.
