Short's Brewing Releases & Updates (2018)

Have had it a few times in the past, so know what to expect. Never had it this fresh - canned a week ago. Glad my local shop can get most shorts stuff pretty fresh.

 

Who likes official announcements? I know I do.

 

It's odd that they don't mention that it is in cans (presumably so based on the post a few levels above).

 

It is currently in cans for Ohio. Not sure about Michigan since I picked up cat grass bottles in Michigan over the summer but had cans locally in Ohio.

 

Sounds like they are saving the added weight of shipping bottles vs. cans.

 

If you have a Bagger Dave's in your area, there's an exclusive Short's Brew on tap: Santa's Boot.



There's also an OddSide exclusive, Frank the Tank Dank Juice, a DNEIPA from their Dank Juice line.

 

I remember last year when they closed all the Bagger Daves at this time and I thought I had to hurry up to use my gift cards at the Novi one (closest remaining one to me) before it closed and stumbled into this by accident. I didnt even know it existed since Short's didnt advertise or mention it at all. I thought it was delicious and anyone that likes Short's belgians should like this as long as they dont mind the festive flavors added. Looks like Berkeley & Novi are the only ones left near the Detroit area for those wondering.

 

That would make sense. I have noticed that some of the releases for out of state accounts have been getting cans (cat grass & slurm lord) that we dont get here in Michigan.

Grabbed a can of Superfluid in Chicago...canned on 12/3/18. I love it when breweries get this stuff out fresh to distribution!!

If a Michigan brewer is going to expand anywhere, Florida makes the most sense to me. We export enough people down there, might as well send some Beer with them.

 

Did I miss Cup A Joe or is it not a thing this year? Consistently one of their best beers, IMO

Haven’t had a beer like this in a while. Is this a sorachi feature?? Not one beer on the market like this right now and it’s intriging me

 

They brewed it, but did something else with it to appear at a later date .

 

What is the Soft Parade to Uber Goober mix ratio for PB&J Stout? 1:1?

 

I've asked but I haven't gotten an answer yet. Although, to be fair, I did it on Twitter. I may just do it through the contact page and see if I get an answer that way. Emily's usually really good at quickly answering inquires. I'll report back tomorrow night.
