The dates printed on some of the labels receiving ABC Approval typically do not line up to actual release date but the one for DB COW states "bottled on December 20, 2018". I'm with you though. If they just posted a video then I don't see them teasing it 2 1/2 weeks ahead of time. With already 5 cans releasing tomorrow I also think they would hold off for another day to create another rush of people on possibly a slower day during the week or weekend.

I agree - wishful thinking on my part they'd do a drop tomorrow but at the same time this has to be very limited and will sell out in a couple hours no matter when they release it. I could see them dropping it tomorrow because yeah, 5 cans, but nothing hyped. Get people out for DB CoW and they'll move more of those cases.

BB and AB were released in the usually slow months of January and February so I could see them pushing it out past end of the year, but then the teaser seems odd? December is usually a pretty solid month for their releases - the releases before/after Christmas are always above average turnout. We'll see, but man I'm excited for this one and just hope it drops on a day I can get up there.

Veil has a pretty crazy release tomorrow (2 bottles, 4 cans) but still no DB Circle of Wolves. I'm thinking @TomCat11 was spot on with the bottling date being 12/20 so they'll likely release next week or the following.

On their IG story they say they're doing special Wednesday releases on 12/26 and 1/1 in case anyone missed that. Those will both be larger than normal lines so I'm hoping, selfishly, they will push CoW to a would-be slower Tuesday in January but I think that's unlikely.

I thought the story said Wednesday 12/26 can release and then special hours (12-5) on Tuesday 1/1 with can release.

You are correct as usual. So normal can release time next week, but on Wednesday instead of Tuesday at 4PM. New Year's day can release, hours 12-5PM.

They do specifically say "can" release - I'm trying not to read too much into how that implies no bottles.

Thoughts on the Frederikshal BA Sleeping Forever?

Is Even Even More More worth trading for too?

Had Even Even More More this weekend, not sure what it is trading for, but it is damn delicious.

I had a Fred about a month ago and I felt like it was better than it was fresh. The cherry had this almost metallic feel at first but I didn't get any of that on the second go. Still wasn't my favorite SF variant by a long shot though.

I don't know what EEMM is trading for but I very much enjoyed it. Thick, chewy, roasty. Maple well integrated but not overly sweet. I'd think offering a $4$ trade is fair considering it was 5per and carried into the next day.

FWIW I felt like all of the stouts from Dark Daze were worth getting and there wasn't a distinct loser. Maple Whangdoodle was too sweet for my liking but it wasn't bad. Personally I wouldn't go much over cost or doing $4$ on any of them.

Not sure what lasted through the day as far as bottles go but for anyone looking to grab bottles from yesterdays release I would recommend trying the Holiday Treat on draft before purchasing, I thought it wasn't very good. Kinda came across like another Horns variant to me and I already don't like that particular series to begin with. Vast: One is totally worth maxing the allotment, really well done and a big surprise for me as I typically don't like much with cherry in it.

Had EEMM on draft at Dark Daze and have drank one of my bottles since, definitely worth trading for. Personally, Lord Whangdoodle was the real stand out from that release and the only ones I really didn't enjoy were the two Distant brews and Vermicious Knid.

Yeah my buddy said the same thing, a little too much like the bad versions of horns with the burnt coffee flavor some have displayed.
Bummed I couldn't make it for Vast, it seems awesome, their wilds have mostly hit for me.

Buy limit was pretty high on Vast, shouldn't be hard to find a trade partner. Definitely a big fan of their wild beer program, I think I've enjoyed everything released to date so far from it. I can't wait for the new Norfolk location to open up, it'll be much more accessible for me.

I work in Norfolk so I'm right there with you. Hopefully we will get some of the same limited bottled stuff.

This is truth. I fully expect Vast to sell out today. Only had it on draft so far but it is one of the best corked bottles they've done, if not the best imho. I think the only reason more people didn't max out is because it was $26/bottle.

I passed on trying the holiday one based on reviews and so many other options on tap but agreed on Lord being the DD winner. But I also liked Knid and thought BA Distant was fantastic and AB would have been great if not for the cherry bits.

Exactly, I was hestitate to purchase a single bottle at that price point.

Couldn't agree more on Vast. Price point was a little steep but the size of the bottle and taste made it worth picking up. AB Distant was ruined for me by the cherry bits and I just wasn't a fan of the Ba or Knid.

Anyone know why we've never seen a Veil / Triple Crossing collab happen? They never seem to be pouring at the same events either, curious about the story behind this.

There has been much speculation but I've never seen anything definitive. I also see the same question regarding Veil and Aslin. I can say they have been pouring more at same fests though. I went to one in Williamsburg a couple weeks ago with TC, Veil, and Aslin all pouring alongside some other great out-of-distribution brewers line Charles Town, Imprint etc. So at least this part seems to be improving.

Do they have any additional beers that show up on the weekends? Or is today's list on their site in the "taproom" area what will be available tomorrow?
