All Day with some jerky made just for me. One of my guys grows all kinds of killer peppers, Peruvian white lightning, Carolina Reaper, Ghost.....but this is mildly between jalapeno and habanero....

 

Went to the track at Laurel Park, enjoyed a Flying Dog Snake Dog, and some Stella Artois, and now an Eastern Shore St. Michael's Ale.

 

Monkish Liquid Flows + mother-in-law glassware.

 

Cheers to all the UPS drivers out there, especially in the Westborough, Ma. area, you guys rock.

From one great LI beer to another. Although there’s a bit of Queens in this (the Finback. Delicious.

 

I'm trying th Firestone Lager...

 

Very nice imperial Schwarz. Great head retention/soapy lacing. Flavors of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, roasted nuts, and toasted dark bread/crusts; with lighter notes of smoke, charcoal, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery, piney hops. Similar/muted aromas; a bit fruity, but not overwhelming. Light-moderate pine, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery, roast, charcoal bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, medium-plus body, and fairly crisp finishing. Creamy, bready, grainy malts; some sticky hops, and chalky char/roast in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing hop/char bitter dryness, minimal acrid/astringency. Very clean lager flavors, minimal fruity/yeasty. Smooth, minimal warming 8.5%. A bit more hoppy, bitter, charred, and drying than expected; but well made style example. Great balance of clean/rich black/roast/Munich malts and earthy/spicy noble hops. 3.88

Amazing how much better this tastes fresh.. Work has been OFFICIALLY dicked off until '19, leaves in the yard have been made my bitch, and all the presents are finally bought. I'm ready to party, let's break out some good shit tonight..

 

An exceptional pale ale brewed by 3 Sheeps and courtesy of @GreenBayBA . Most (but not all) pale ales seem to lack a bit of flavor but not this one.

Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a bright, golden body with nice lacing. Nose of saison yeast, spice, hay, and slight funk. Very nice flavors that mirror the aromas with the spice on the finish. Nice feel and overall a saison that I will come back to. Cheers!
