Amazing batch this year. Aromas and flavors of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, nutty dark roasted coffee, caramel, maple syrup, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coconut, molasses, smoke, char, and herbal hops. A little boozy/muted on aromas. Light-moderate herbal, char, roasted coffee bitterness and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and full body; with a fantastic smooth, creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel. Light-moderate sticky hops, chalky char/roast, oak tannins, and increasing dryness. Minimal warming 11.7%, zero barrel booze. Dangerously smooth sipping. Perfectly balanced between barrel, malt, and chocolate/coffee flavors. This has some noticeable differences from KBS, but I don't prefer one over the other. Less coconut from barrels, added sappy maple syrup flavors. This year was a bit more charred/bitter/drying, but still spot on stuff. Glad I got a few, would get more if I run across it.

Amazing batch this year, as usual. Flavors of huge cinnamon, mint, nutmeg, ginger, clove, vanilla, coffee, cream, and chili pepper spice; with balanced milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, fudge, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, and toasted dark bread malt sweetness. Mild herbal/spice and roasted bitterness; touch of char. Fantastic creamy, silky, velvety, and rich full body mouthfeel. Slight sticky spice, chalky roast, and increasing dryness. Dangerously smooth, minimal warmth of 13% or lingering pepper heat. Super rich and decadent. Perfect balance of spices and rich stout malt flavors. One of my favorite spiced stouts along with regular Bomb! Will grab more than I already did so far.

Good morning BAs! Thanks @SawDog505 for starting the thread. Slept in this morning and awoke to snow falling but not on my car! Finished cleaning/reorganizing the garage yesterday so now my car can spend the winter inside - first time in two years! Today's New Breakfast Beer:

    Meh.

Amazing NEIPA. Aromas and flavors of big mandarin orange juice, lemon, lime, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Mild pine, zesty, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready/grainy malts and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Slight lingering resins/rinds near the end of the glass. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. Very smooth/soft feel, minimal warming 7%. Citra, Wai-iti, and Amarillo profile. Amazingly juicy and lightly dank/earthy hop complexity; perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone, not overly sweet from lingering dryness. They always do an awesome job on NEIPAs.

Like @Snowcrash000 said yesterday, I’ve got to get some more Cloudwater into my life - “AW-18 Brewed All Season Pale”:

A NE PA at 4%, pungent grapefruit mango onion nose. Taste follows suit. Garlicky citrus finish, but not so much as to be cat pissy. Too thin to be juicy, yet watery body still feels right for ABV. Lots of nose. Well balanced taste with lite bitterness. Another British PA that blows the doors of off many similar American NE PAs.

Hope to finish my Xmas shopping after lunch, and maybe drink some beers. Cheers!

    Good morning BA
I decided to really switch things up and drink a Quad instead of a Belgian Strong Dark Ale this morning...

Last night was a rough one. We took first break seven hours into the shift. All forgotten now, but that's the beauty of shift work. Do your 12 hours and let someone else take over.
    Cheers all!

This is tasting amazing. Flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, cream, toffee, molasses, bourbon, coconut, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coffee, licorice, raisin, plum, fig, and dates. Very mild roast/char bitterness and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; with a very creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel that is amazing. Slight chalky roast, oak tannins, and dryness. No acrid/astringent roast flavors. Insanely smooth, minimal warming 11.2%, zero barrel booze. Bell's has the BBA game on point as usual. While I still prefer well aged Expedition and the BBA version more, this is still definitely better than I remember when I reviewed it initially. Richer and silkier mouthfeel. Perfect barrel integration and complexity. Still have a few left, was so easy to find last year. Same with BBA Expedition this year.
