What beer are you drinking now? #2260

Energy City Milkshake Haida Peach DIPA (Citra, Centennial, lactose, vanilla, peaches). If this had more vanilla, it would be pretty top notch imo. Still great where it stands now, but more of a peach DIPA than a milkshake peach DIPA. Delicious stuff.



Three Floyds CheerTeam IPA. These guys have been experimenting in the hazy IPA game for a little while now, but they will not give up their roots...big hop bitterness. This most definitely is juicy and fruity like most NE style beers, but it takes a dry and bitter twist on the finish. Awesome beer.

I'm very unsure if you like real actual beer.

 

Well, this is what's left in my fridge...

A formidable handful of IIPAs...

But I'm still gonna need to freshen my stock for the year's end...

Sure seems that way! I'll admit I'm a sucker for the hype sadly. But believe me, there is nothing better than a well-made beer without any adjuncts or haze.

 

We should hang out.

Another 99 Additions

 

I've always been a huge fan of Collective Arts, but man, they've really stepped up their game even more with IPAs recently. IPA No 7 with Citra and Nelson was one of my favorite NEIPAs this year.

 

Anytime you're heading out to the region let me know my friend. Some great beer spots out here besides 3 Floyds, as I'm sure you probably know.

 

A family friend bought over his homemade barrel aged porter. Pretty dang tasty!

 

Went to STL last weekend to pick up Sump bottles. Stopped at Side Projects for a few pours and brought this one home.

 

Last can of this. Damn tasty.

I'll be thinking of my favorite songs from this year this weekend, but this is one of my favorites from the last decade.

Got pretty much beaten up tonight. Opened dozens upon dozens of oysters, little necks. Plus antipasti, charcuterie, 4 salads plus a special and 3 soups all made to order. It pretty much the epitome of line work in a relatively high end- way over sized (seats plus function) about 400. I am a one man show in Garde Mange. Other nights I work the oven solo. Any who works this knows: all out, everyday, no breaks, no food and you're lucky if you get to take a piss.
