Very delicious IPA from Swiftwater. I'm glad I'm trying this again (mostly) sober and not as sleepy. It's very good. Reminds me a lot of Tired Hands. Very oaty and melony.



Aside from Yob's Our Raw Heart, Khemmi's Desolation is my other album of the year pick.

 

I'm no fukin wimp even after all these years. Like I said before temporary. I've done this before. Good news is a good friend and associate may need a chef for a brewery/rotating menu concept

Is it good? It sounds intriguing and I keep debating whether or not I want to buy it, but I'm usually disappointed by New Belgium, so I am extremely reluctant to.

 

It's decent. Nice mix of caramel malts, oaky vanilla, and a subtle bourbon presence. I don't usually buy New Belgium stuff, but this one caught my eye and it was at a good price point. Worth a try, imo.
