I’ve heard good things about Wayfinder, but have yet to try their beers. Occidental makes good lagers, and you could probably find cans around town. If you’re willing to venture out, Heater Allen makes excellent lagers. And if you see anything on tap from Chuckanut, be sure to give it a try.

Wayfinder deserves your attention. They make great German-style lagers and good IPAs, and they usually have a West Coast style in addition to a couple hazies. Also, they have really good food.

BTW: Thumbs up for putting Upright near the top of your list. Not only do they hit every one of your favorite styles, their taproom/production brewery in the basement of an office building is one of the most unique beer experiences in town.

Given where it sounds like you'll be spending a fair amount of your time, you might want to give Wayfinder a try. They do a pretty decent job with lagers and pils in particular (Czech and German style). Food is pretty decent as well, if you need to grab a bite during your travels. You'll also be in the vicinity of Hair of the Dog, though based on your favored style description, I'm not sure they're going to have too much on tap that you like (bottles maybe). Food is pretty good there as well, if you decide to stop on in.

    Have fun and good luck.

Looked into Wayfinder and they are on my list now. Having a beer honor Yob is a cool little bonus, though also doesn't mean much (not like I ever bothered trying the yob named beer from Trve in Denver).

Hair of the Dog is considered. Maybe not my favorite style, but I think some stuff I would like.

    About to look into Occidental.

    Thanks for that heads ups.

Don't usually post this sort of thing (as exceptional tap lists tend to be the rule, rather than rhe exception here), but the taplist is unusually strong today at belmont station. Couple of fw anniversary beers (19 and 21), xmas bomb, DuPont avec les bons vouex, duchesse cherry, barrel aged delirium nocturem, and samichlaus 2009.

May need to call the wife to come get me.

Did you try the Fremont Mexican Hot Chocolate? Based on the ABV, I’m guessing it’s Dark Star with added flavors, which sounds pretty wonderful.

Didn't get it tonight, but had it previously at the Fremont event at Arch Bridge. Not sure if it's just a variant of the regulat dark star, but it was pretty tasty... Even when tried side by side with the bbomb variants.
