Touted as a Canadian Breakfast Stout, “Not Your Buddy, Guy!”, a Milk Stout with lactose and coffee:

There are notes of molasses and brown sugar; roast coffee dominates the nose/tongue; bitter roast coffee finish/linger. A good coffee forward breakfast beer.

Off to Sunday farmer’s market in Stockbridge. Have a great Sunday!

This is tasting amazing. Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, vanilla, bourbon, nuts, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coconut, licorice, molasses, raisin, prune, cherry, fig, date, smoke, char, leather, tobacco, herbal, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Slight booze in the aromas as it warms. Mild herbal, roast, char bitterness; and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full body. Very creamy, silky, velvety, rich mouthfeel. Light slickness, sticky hops, chalky char/roast, oak tannins, and increasing dryness. No cloying, acrid flavors. Mildly increasing warmth of 13.7%, no barrel booze. Dangerously smooth sipping. Perfectly balanced rich malts and bourbon barrel presence/integration. Not overly boozy, tannic, drying on barrels. Amazing regardless of vintage, looking forward to reviewing the rest of the variants I got this year soon.

Goodmorning ba. Hope your Sunday is filled with great beer and lots of love from family as we get ready to embrace the new year

Evil twin has been the most creative brewery to me this year as I've had tons of their ridiculously named beers.. Strong maple & bourbon with raisin/fig & chocolate. Flavors very masked by bourbon and coconut.. Another gem cheers

This is amazing. Aromas and flavors of huge caramel, brown sugar, raisin, plum, fig, red apple, cherry, orange zest, toffee, vanilla, coconut, rye whiskey, toasted oak, brown bread, and nuts. Light herbal hop and rye whiskey/oak spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and fairly full bodied; creamy/slick malts, some sticky hops and whiskey/oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing sticky hop, spicy rye, oak tannin dryness. No cloying/astringency. Mildly warming 12%, no barrel booze. Dangerously smooth drinking. Just as amazing as I remember from when I first reviewed it. Glad these are in 4 packs now, need to go find another one. Perfect rye barrel presence/integration with what I would classify as a rye malt English barleywine overall; between rich malts and fruity yeast. Would get another pack.

Amazing NEIPA as always. Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, and light pepper/pine hops; with balanced honey, wheat, toasted bread, light caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready malt mouthfeel; some sticky hops and slight resins. Slightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, never astringent. Very smooth/soft, 7%. Used to be Boxer, but some legal crap made them change the name. I slightly prefer it over M43. More malty from the Vienna/Munich malts; and also prefer the hop profile more because of Equinox/Mosaic additions. Old Nation is making the best NEIPAs in the state. Always have all of them in the fridge now.

It's hard to explain, these urges sometimes are ridiculous, whether it's a Bud or a cold coke. I had a brilliant Union Jack on tap yesterday, it's as good an IPA that can be brewed when it's that fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed that beer after a great day out with the wifey. All I can think about as far as beer goes right now is an old fashioned retro bottle of Budweiser sweating after being popped into he freezer for 10-15 minutes. No glass right from the bottle. It's unbalanced, but it's harmless.

Insane DIPA as usual. Aromas and flavors of huge grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate honey, biscuit, light caramel/toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Good sized pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malt, and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Super smooth, not overly aggressive, minimal warming 9%. Amazing classic Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe, Cascade, Citra profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; great bready malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness from lingering resin dryness. Well attenuated for the ABV. One of the best west coast DIPAs ever made, especially with having no newer hops.

I would agree if it was over 80 degrees outside, but sadly it is not (at least on Long Island).
