Bowl Pick ‘Em ‘18

Incorrect sir! Last night may have been the first night since I was about 14-15 and wasn’t working NYE that I was completely sober. I’ve been so bad to myself for the past few months that I turned down parties to stay at home, eat healthy and went to the gym this morning which was stellar since there was only about 10 people there.

The NYE resolution people were probably too hungover. There will be a big rush for about two weeks and then 90% of them disappear.

Hmmmm...looks like an Iowa win may actually benefit me slightly. I know I can’t catch you unless you fuck up epically, but beating John, Cosmo and fff (which has already happened) is reward enough itself.

 

I actually liked UCF a lot and would have picked them if their starting QB was still playing. I know the back up played good in their title game but I was still skeptical. Also didn’t lie all the players LSU is missing, specifically in their secondary. Already regretting it.

I see @johnyb took the weakest way out to support his team by laying a whopping ONE point on UCF. Lol, you’re something else buddy. I told my wife I bet you’ve been saving that one point pick all season specifically for this game.

 

I figured most people would pick PSU so I could play it safe and pick them or go for the jugular and pick Kentucky. I liked Kentucky to win anyways but strategically it wasn’t a smart pick and was high risk. This game could be sink or swim for me.

 

Awwwwwe...that’s too bad, looks like you went down like Joey Chestnut on a bucket of fried chicken. You don’t know how much it hurts me to see that. Apparently my blindfolded picks worked out pretty well. Now you can wallow around with John, too bad we didn’t have a side bet too.

Mr Hero dipshit, unfortunately I have to commend you but as I said, if I lost to John or didn’t place I was going to blame it all on Arkansas f’in state. Had they even converted one, just one of those 4 attempts inside the 10 yard line, my name would be at the top right now, not yours. I knew that game would come back to haunt me.

Anyways, it will be interesting to see how it plays our with top 4-5 people, it may very well come down to picking the National Championship Team which, assuming we pick the same team in the next game, means I could still potentially beat your ass by one point if I pick the national champion and you don’t (if I
I did my loose math correctly). Very ironic how we both have the exact same amount of points remaining as well.

 

I picked Vanderbilt, NW and Kentucky. I wouldn’t doubt me if I were you.

 

@FFFjunkie are you liking all my posts just to fuck with me? It sure seems that way and it’s becoming annoying. If you spent as much time on making your picks as you do liking my posts maybe you wouldn’t be headed towards the cellar where you belong.

 

My point is don’t think I won’t pick the underdog (ie CLEMSON). Now it’s a guessing game, and there’s three of us in the running. Are you that confident in Alabama or do you pick Clemson in case I did or whoever the fuck anyteamcanhaveabadcentury is (sounds like a Cowboys fan) is?

Obviously if we pick the same team I’m fucked.

@johnyb @turfy condolences. It may be time to hang it up? Two years in a row I’ve swept both of you in the college and bowl BIF. It’s not even fun anymore but I hope you have the ovaries to give me a chance at the hat trick come September.

 

Bwahahaha.....I’m almost, almost, starting to feel bad for him. John is one of the nicest, best BA’s I know. It’s kinda like kicking a puppy.

I’m starting to have mixed emotions. I’ve noticed how quiet him and Turfy have been, I guess they saw the writing on the wall after last years smack down. For John to lose in such epic fashion on the last day had to have hurt. He probably had my avatar picked out for weeks. I don’t say this offen, literally once or twice a year, but I’m sorry John. I’m sorry.

 

It’s honestly one of my top “wants” to have several beers with him someday. I figure Huna day would be the best time.
