    New Belgium.
Just down the street and the place is a virtual fortress.

I've been looking for some product placement on Walking Dead. Would be cool to see Rick throw down some Sweetwater or Terrapin. Hell, you know the Governor has a stash of good beer somewhere.

Locally, I would probably head to Brewery Vivant. Not many windows, heavy chapel doors. Could probably use the long tables inside to board up everything else. There are usually plenty of bikes outside to use as emergency transport should I need to get somewhere quick.

Jason, if you like the walking dead, check out the podcast 'We're Alive' you can get it through iTunes. It's really good.

Going with the cold theme (zombies hate cold), I'd have to say Midnight Sun (if I could make it that far).

The original question sounds like a great new brewery idea.

The White House Brew Kitchen. I'd have their Honey Porter and come on, if there was one place safe in the US, it would be with the President!

I don't hate to be that guy, but traditional zombies are voodoo zombies, brainwashed living people under the control of the voodoo priest/ess.

But how would you get there? Traveling during a zombie apocalypse wouldn't exactly be a piece of cake. It would be easier to hole up somewhere local. (Unless of course you were a pilot, and had access to a plane and fuel.)

i assumed the question was hypothetical, so we wouldnt have to worry about it. since you asked how we'd get there, we'd need to think out logistics, so i'd take a boat. there must be one nearby, and the brewery surely has a dock (how else would anyone get there--zombie apocalypse or not?) and correct me if i'm wrong, but i doubt zombies would have the mental capacity to operate a boat of any sort. even if they do make it, we're back in the same predicament as any other brewery on land, so it's a wash.

Shaun of the dead didn't have any that were very fast and that movie is very factual in relation to what we know to be cannon about zombies.

I would stay close to home. So I'd go to TBC and it's close to the water in case I need an escape plan.
