    Great thread.
Somehow I have never had anything from samuel smith, and while I have had almost every variant, I have never had plain old yeti.

Call or order fresh Surly stuff at france44. Just google and go, Abrasive is always fresh, just ask about canning dates on Abrasive or Todd The Axman if it’s available. Two 4 packs with shipping perhaps $32. As efficient as trading for it considering you have to pay to ship your beers. And it’s legal.

Is it really that uncommon back east?

Yes. We used to see it often enough to keep some stocked up, and I think it came in a mix pack a few years ago. I was actually talking about it with the beer shop guy today. We were discussing how good it was and that we can't get it anymore

The only place I've found it out here is at the SN planet in Mills River NC.

Huh, I guess I took it for granted that every place had their shelves stocked, seeing that they're one of the oldest and largest breweries. I hear of all these obscure names from across the country, and didn't realize I was blessed, even in the middle of nowhere.

I've been wanting to try a Corona Familiar, but not willing to pay $10 for a 6 pack as its being priced in most stores (craft pricing???)...waiting to find a single somewhere.

Some long standing whalez that have been around for many years, that I still haven't had like 3 Floyds Dreadnaught, Lost Abbey Duck Duck Gueze, Adam by Hair of the Dog and a few others.

Agreed. Kinda embarrassing considering Deschutes has been distributed here for a long time now.

I've still never had a chance to try Dark Lord. To be fair, I haven't put a lot of effort into it in the last several years but I thought surely I would come across that one at a bottle share or somewhere.

Gotta do this one! I was in the same boat a while ago and have not turned back from this wonderful Pilsner that makes it into my fridge on a regular basis. 3.99 4 pack tall boys regularly at binny's.

This is probably my beer that most fits this question. I have seen it several times, scouted the cheapest prices, have never pulled the trigger!

I've never tried anything by Unibroue, including their beers on the Beers of Fame list here. I see them frequently and more and more think I should pick it up, but I'd rather pick up a single vs. a four pack, I very rarely see those packs split out for individual sale.

Also had my first Samuel Smith late last year, but I still have yet to try their Oatmeal Stout. It's a classic, but I still haven't touched it.

My sampling of Rogue and Sam Adam are very limited as well. I drank a fair amount of the latter when first getting into craft, but it's pre-dates my reviewing here. It was usually something like my dad and I would split a variety 12 pack, where I'd get 1 of each bottle, and he'd get the remainder.

I'm thinking it's time to spend more money on the import aisle. I am actively seeking more of the classics these days.

Only time I've ever had Orval (and it was middle of last year) was at my last breakfast in Belgium. It was the only beer on the menu I hadn't had, so I figured I should finally try it on that sunny, blue sky morning. Definitely not my favorite, but I at least finally got to give it a whirl. Took long enough for me to commit to it.

If your state allows alcohol to be shipped though the mail go to france44.com, they are out of MN and abrasive is available.
