They don’t often release / tap anything new on the weekends so the list from yesterday should be pretty much be what to expect today as well.

 

Picked up a few packs of Dirtyferrari and a pack of Never Again3. The gose was quite impressive. I'm not a sour guy but this was actually pretty darn good.

From the recent story posts by Mr. Tarpy on Instagram it appears we have two CoW bottles coming out (soon hopefully). I am aware of the Double Barrel version but does anyone have an idea what the other is supposed to be?

 

What did everyone think about Dirty Ferrari? I had my first can tonight, and thought it was really good.

 

I've only seen speculation which seems weird to me given how ravenous people are about tracking down labels online. We all knew double barrel was coming for a year but someone still posted the label for it like 2 months ago. Is it possible there haven't been new labels because these are just this year's BB and AB with a different color scheme? I don't know if they have to get label approval if it's just a design change and not a product change.

Last year they did BB and AB at two different releases. I'm wondering if they're going to spread these over 2-3 releases or have one big CoW release day with all of them and maybe tap only variants or something.

 

Not sure on the label approval as well, maybe someone in the know on these policies can chime in on that.

Do you remember if the original BB and AB were released in the same month and if so what month was it? Personally hoping they drop both on the same day this year as I typically have to take a half day off at work to make it to these bigger releases. Would love an annual CoW Day with draft only variants and 3 - 4 bottle options to go. I would also be happy to see their Anniversary go back to a one day release also but understand why they spread it out through a full week now.

There was a post on BTV with the Untappd unreleased beers. There aren’t any new CoW variant labels. My money is on getting DB, BB and AB.

 

It's FINALLY here!!! Double Barrel CoW dropping tomorrow! Anyone plan to go and not buy the entire allotment (3pp)? Looking for extra bottles myself.

 

Your best bet is to post in the trading section, I've had posts like that taken down in other threads before.

I can't believe DB CoW are 3pp tomorrow. BB CoW was only 2pp with 1,000 bottles when it was released before the hype of that Paste article but I guess this is in line with AB which was 4pp for 1200 bottles.

This one will go quickly. Just hoping the line doesn't get bogged down with the mess of the cellar release (it will) but at least the weather should be nice. Edited to say that video announcement is pretty fantastic - they did a great job on that.

Agreed. I've been surprised with some of these releases though. I gotta think the Answer's release tomorrow will snake away at least a few people but who knows.

 

It's hard to tell sometimes, Toast-E-Coilz was roughly 300 max allotments and it sold out in a few hours which seemed to surprise some people. This seems to have more people hyped.
Too bad they didn't do this one 2pp.

 

Yeah at 3pp I’ll probably skip this one, I’m guessing a multiple-hour wait in line will be required to get any.

 

Yeah I would have posted in the trading section (and still might) but I knew there would be a lot of talk about it here so I figured it would be seen by more people. As far as the limits, I'm personally stoked to see that its 3pp and not anything lower. Sure it will be a shit show there tomorrow due to the cellar stuff and the much hyped Double Barrel release so I'll be getting there earlier than usual. The weather will be a bonus and I'm really hoping The Answer release draws a lot of people away from the Veil. No way this lasts through the day either, I fully expect it to sellout same day.

 

Really depends on how quickly the line moves I guess. That AB CoW line was brutal. I had been to a ton of recent releases before that one. It should have taken me about 1hr15 based on where I was in line but it took about 2hr45.

 

I planned to go to Veil tomorrow but agree with you that the release of the cellar stuff will make it a nightmare. I may go Wednesday instead. Just want to pick up some four packs and I assume some will still be available then.

 

You sir should have zero issue grabbing 4 packs of hops on Wednesday. If that is what you are going for and not cellar/AB CoW bottles you will likely be quite glad you stayed home. I don't expect Dark Daze 2 level shit-show regarding the line (I think it will still move relatively quickly since it's only 1-2 cellar bottles pp and the quantities are small) but it will be hellish compared to a non-hype can release.
