Anyone want to set a dollar amount line for this? +/- $100?

    Or = to. $100 = 2x 22 oz. bottles + glassware. Maybe a "collectable box too.

With MD having been priced at $100 for the 2 x 22 + glass and pour... the pessimist in me is kind of expecting a $200 package for 2 x 22 + glass + pour. Or $100 for 1 bottle + glass + pour.

Price discussion aside, I'm curious how this will be released (first come first serve, whether on-line or line-up, lottery again, hand to hand combat fight to the death, etc).

I really enjoyed the whole weekend and the event last year, and hope it is run a similar fashion this year.

I hope this isn't the case but it wouldn't surprise me

No way. Not even these greedy fuggs would gouge that much.

I wouldn’t be surprised. It will sell out at that price. They will continue to push the price barrier.

    Paid $20/bottle in 2014 and bought 12 bottles. ($240).

Will buy zero bottles this year.

Would it even be gouging if it’s par for the course? Mornin delight isn’t barrel aged and was at the price you initially suggested, sr-71 was $100 for a bomber, and Kbbs was $100 for 12 ounces. Neither of the last two included glassware or pours.

The TG price creep was real all through 2018, I see no reason assassin wouldn’t be priced somewhere between MD and SR/KBBS. Not that it makes it palatable, but...

Shit like this makes the Whiskey market seem more reasonable by the day.. At least they have an excuse for the high prices. It literally takes years to make and despite high cost, you have many days/servings of enjoyment vs 1 12oz beer.

I wonder if mug club people will get a crack at it

Original/primary purpose of "Mug Club" is discounts on tap and growler fills.

Who was the one guy who complained on social media once about not getting one of their rare beers then they sent him one? That was some funny stuff

Great. But that doesn't answer my question.

Well, it should help answer your question since it's primary purpose is for tap/growler discounts at the brewery. Not to give you a leg up on raffles for rare beer releases.

"mug club" is not synonymous with "TG rare beer lovers leg up club"

You could always ask them on twitter if you have an account. Not sure anyone here will have a definite answer, only a reasonable assumption.

Mug club members have had occasional access to these special release beers in the past. I am asking if anyone knows if they will this time, not what "mug club" means.

Hopefully! Mug Club got an allotment of Orange Assassin last year.
