That’s a fair point. I was a Super Sap and Snow deep when I had the first Green and posted the first Green comment. The next day I started with Green and thought it wasn’t even close to what I had a few months ago.

 

Snow is great too.

They've got to get that signature TH flavor down. I've had it in all their beers since Charlton but inconsistently. It's that candied fruit/bubblegum thing that no one else has.

I wonder what it is that brings out that flavor. The yeast?

Green again today. Guess we will have to see if it is better than last weeks.

 

TH usually keeps a few kegs of all special beers they brew so they can offer draft over the coming weeks. C56 was probably on for growlers (and dipped into the draft supply) because they were open and had nothing available for takeaway beer. I wouldn't look too much into it.

 

Going on Friday so I'm interested to get some feedback on this batch of Green for sure.

i actually cant tell this time considering how slow it has been.
no idea how many they will sell on fri/sat.

 

They are starting today with a posted 682 available cases of it at a case limit/pp. You can see how it shakes out over the next couple-few days for Sunday availability.

 

Does Moment of clarity usually last more than one day? I’ll be there tomorrow wasn’t sure if the 4 can thing was to space it out for a few days.

 

Another +1 for Julius from mid December seeming watered down. I'm not even comparing to Monson, just other batches I've had. I wonder what's different.

It will last a few days if not more. It's been slow this week. Double Shot is going on a week and it's been 4pp since it's second day of availability.

 

That batch of green is the 1st I've had in 3-4 years (in fact 1st TH purchase I've had in 3-4 years). I remember declaring it my favorite IPA back then. Doesn't taste like what I remember and was starting to wonder if it was just me. I don't buy too much into the the "tastes/palates change" thing because there are tons of beers that taste just as great to me now as they did even more than 4 years ago. I'm hoping the cans are still just a bit young/green and will taste better in another week. Not that they're bad at all...I just don't get that pineapple character that I remember getting hit with back then.

 

Like I said before, the last 4 or 5 times I bought Green before this last time, it was world class. Pineapple was there and it had the creaminess we come to expect.
