I definitely liked getting a hoarders sticker and a hoarders glass at least.

The shark bottle opener was the best. I love that thing.

It will only let me hit like once. I want to hit like ten times.

Was one of my favorites that I had in the tap room last year.

I got a Hoarders Pin in 2017. Kinda scratching my head because I was, and still am, RS.

The Whale Shark opener or that cheap 'nail in wood' one from 2 years ago?

If its the Whale Shark, I feel the owner takes pride in his products and will get you taken care of!

    Whale shark. Well, both actually.

The nail one was just not very effective and I didn't really use it.

On the whale shark, the front bolt/screw that attaches the metal piece to the wood came loose after a few weeks. If you try to pry open a cap that is tight at all, the metal piece will separate away from the wood slightly and it won't work. I was surprised because it seems pretty heavy duty. I sure liked it while it worked, particularly for waxed bottles.

I suppose if I had a square driver I might be able to tighten it, although the fact that it popped loose from opening bottles makes me question whether it would hold any better the second time.

Can I just say, if they release new glassware: nobody wants those gigantic 375 ML size glasses! Ordinary glasses please!

    A 375ml glass is a gigantic glass?

    375ml =12.68 oz

I'll assume you mean the 750ml glasses.

I have two of them and think they are perfect for BT, its variants and other super high ABV beers. Of course the intent is not to fill it to the brim, but rather fill it with a 6oz to 8oz pour, allowing the vessel to capture the nose... much like a wine glass or brandy snifter.

    I use mine often.

Having said that, I don't need another one at the moment.

I like both my Whale Shark and 750ml glasses. I use both frequently.

I did try pouring an entire Terreux bottle once. While fun to do, I don't think it enhanced the experience.

Sounds like you got a defective one. I open every bottle with mine and have yet to have any issues (but now I'm going to take a look at it after work). If you threw a little wood glue in there and screwed it back down that would hold pretty steady I'd think.

I think it’s infected, not defective.
