Did Triple Barrel tap out or will they still have it today?

When I left yesterday around 6:45 I believe they were still on the first keg and bartender mentioned they had more than one so should still be flowing

I've had many 10+ year old vintages in the past, and I never had one that was aged more than maybe 7 years that I enjoyed. Especially when done side-by-side with fresher vintages. Granted, storage could have easily been part of the reason. But for me, the boozy heat always seemed to stay while the base stout seems to "break down" (seemed thinner and more one-dimensional). Delilah's use to do (maybe still does?) a Vintage Strong Beer Fest, and they sometimes had old vintages (early 00s vintages when I was going to the fest starting around '10). Those held up pretty well, as I assumed they were stored correctly. But any time I've done them as tastings with friends, I never rated them as well. However, looking back at Untapped, I did rate an '06 in '13 very highly. That is probably the oldest vintage that I still enjoyed (7 years old). But again, who knows if that was a properly stored bottle compared to the others we were tasting that particular night.

Speaking of $$$ - Butcher's Tap on Southport had regular BCS on tap when I was in there Wednesday night. When I ordered it, the guy told me they had "all 6" and would put them on one at a time when one kicked. He said Midnight Orange was next. So if you're looking to try any one in particular on draft, watch untappd checkins there (not sure how often they update online menus, etc.).

    I think reg was $15 per 10oz (or $10 for 5oz).

Josh Noel is so anti-ABI that it's hard to not view his "findings" through a propaganda lens.

His "likeliest" isn't based in science, as in anyone has been able to replicate this. It's pure conjecture. Does it make sense in that what he is saying is plausible? Sure. Is there any reason why his short blurb about the barrels makes "more" logical sense than the tanker truck, and in fact deserves the likeliest rating? No way in hell.

And aren't you the biggest Bourbon County fan boy? So, looks like we have here an old fashioned stalemate, or is it a Mexican standoff, wait maybe it is an impasse.

I cracked an '07 BCBS up at Torch Lake in July and all of us thought it was fantastic. Also shared my next to last bottle of the original Rare (back when people scoffed at $40-$50 a bomber). It, too, was great.

People are lining up in the cold to kick a ball, once, several hours from now.

    Placekicker Beer Mule

    - Placekicker brought to beer event to secure free beer for another person.

“Can you believe the Placekicker Mule waited in line for five hours?”

“Why didn’t the Placekicker Mule just keep the beer for himself? He wasn’t interested in a years worth of 312, but will split any BCS awarded.”

Was planning on going but efff that. I only stand in line in the freezing cold and/or snow for beer (and photography). I honestly don't know how people are going to stay warm enough to not rip their hamstring.

Also Prop 14 on draft there. Also regular 18 BCS. See, beer talk. Mods pls don't delete

He is anti-InBev? Please cite your source. He follows everything GI does and writes about it favorably. Don’t know too many people who spend 5+ years writing unbiased books on something they hate with a passion....

Apparently, Parkey was in line with a fake beard and proceeded to triple doink his kick attempt. In fairness to him, a suspecting fan whistled while he was kicking. The timeout was not allowed.
