Can't seem to find any Field 41 or Top/Bottom Cutter that wasn't canned more recently than October. Anybody see any fresher around Spokane?

Not helping you @woemad i know, but the TC has some fresher stuff. Except, I still have not come across dormancy in cans yet. What gives? You guys have dormancy sightings yet? Had to settle for dormancy on draft last night.

We've started seeing the new cans around here, use that as your guide. If you're seeing the old packaging, it's probably old beer.

I have come across Dormancy cans in Spokane. I bought one for a BIF I took part in, and iirc it was fresher than any of the regular BB options around here.

I haven't seen any cans being sold with the new labels so far. I'm going to go hit a couple places later this weekend, so maybe I'll have better luck.

Whole new rebrand. @vurt posted pics in a past thread.

Oh, I know, I've seen them online and on tap handles. Just haven't seen any of the new cans in the flesh.

I might go there tomorrow. Today I did find singles of Top Cutter at Rocket Market canned in late November, and whole 6ers about that old at Super 1 up on 29th. So far those are the only new label cans I've seen. Certainly there were none at the northside TW last weekend. Plenty of older stuff around town, however.

Bottles did an event with BB recently so I think that's why they have the freshies.

I really wish Bottles was closer to me. I'd happily trade them with Huckleberry's which is quite close by me.

We’ve had this same problem in Seattle with BB cans in the past. Wonder if it’s a distributor issue.

Josh is great, but have to admit I liked the old place better as a bottle shop - seems like the selection was a little bigger, and it was a more comfortable atmosphere for browsing (I'm just not much of a crowd person). But I'm sure he's making more money, which is good.

I have to admit I haven't been in since they opened in the new space. Kinda bummed to hear it's less of a bottle shop than before.

Honestly Community Pint is probably the best bottle shop in town now, and thats not saying much. JBs is pretty good too but so much old product they won't mark down and store at room temperature.

Compare bottle shops in other medium sized cities like Bellingham, Vancouver, and Olympia and I feel like Spokane kinda deserves a really top notch bottle shop like Elizabeth Station. Every shop we have here seems like a compromise.

    Well, s
Well, some of us wish we had a bottleshop that wasn't overpriced, and staffed by snobby, snot-nosed hipster pukes.

    Grass always greener and such.

I nominate this for the list of all time Old Guy grumpy quotes. I could apply it to just about all of post-Amazon Seattle (speaking as an Old Guy who has lived here for 70+ years). Way to go, @beertunes , you've outdone yourself.

Even the highest rated bottle shops in Spokane have old product, are missing entire styles of beer, and/or seemingly make very little effort to get beer not readily available from our limited area distributors.

Snobby snot-nosed hipsters I can ignore, or even purposely annoy for my own amusement.

I like what TJ does with the space available in Community Pint, but I hear you. I'd love a place like 99 Bottles in Federal Way, which I used to visit whenever I'd go see my brother, but they couldn't keep their doors open despite being right off I-5. Perhaps a craft beer bottleshop just can't survive in most places without also being at least as much a bar.

They also got killed by the nearby Total Wine which apparently appeals to the South King County suburb mentality more.

CRFT Beer down in Auburn seems to be doing ok, but they also have taps.
