    It's January, some might have a new years resolution to cut down drinking for a while, and lose some weight. So do I. I'm doing pretty well, trying this keto diet, and in terms of food I find this very easy to follow. Cutting down on barrel-aged stouts is somewhat problematic. Anyways, to the point:

    Does anyone know the amount of sugar and/or carbs in specifically Cantillon and 3 Fonteinen?
    There have been some topics regarding sours, but that's a bit generic for me. I don't think you can compare a supermarket sour to a for example a Cantillon gueuze. I am especially interested in knowing the sugar/ carb level of:
    Cantillon Gueuze
    Cantillon Kriek
    Cantillon Rose
    3 Fonteinen Armand & Gaston

    Does anyone know? How would this impact a keto diet?
    Thanks.

    I googled cantillon beer nutritional which led me to;

    https://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/brasserie-cantillon-cantillon-gueuze-100-lambic-489361712

    I can't attest to the accuracy, and it may not have all the info that you want. They may have info on the others.

    How much Cantillon and 3 Fonteinen do you have in your house where it can even be a concern regarding their carbs and your diet? :slight_smile:

    I'd surmise that if you want to get rid of sugar and such that the first place to look is going to be those barrel aged stouts because those kind of need the residual sweetness of a higher finishing gravity to punch through on the palate. Sours like what you mentioned would basically fall apart with that much residual sugar left over.

    Sadly, you will have to move away from most craft beer, even the drier ones, on keto. However, My Fitness Pal is usually pretty accurate.
    Learn to love Michelob Ultra, Miller Lite or Busch Lite. I have had great success with keto and those are the three beers with the lowest amount of carbs that still taste and feel a bit like beer.

    I'll be that guy.... keto is this years hot shit. Last year was paleo. Just moderate your intake and enjoy life. Better a little great beer than a lot of crap beer.

    Lambics are reasonably lower in carbs in relation to their ABV than a regular ~6% beer but the difference between them is negligible. If you want to have a single 750 once a week it's not going to affect the diet. If you want to enjoy the buzz of alcohol clean spirits or champagne are your best bets.

    My bro is all about the "gains." Getting swole at 30. I'm in my mid thirties did a decade of lifting. I would describe my bro as very strong but very large also. I just maintain, working hard drinking hard everyday.
